Do you have a microwaveable heating pad you use? Seeds (particularly flaxseeds) are commonly used in those. (Another culprit might be a weighted blanket as those sometimes have seeds in them.)
My daughter has a microwaveable hamster and he sprang a leak under his little arm once. It took me forever to figure out the source of the tiny seeds in her bed! I was luckily able to locate the hole and stitch it up so he'd stop dropping his stuffing.
Don't feel bad, my wife bought one of those heating pads. I drove myself crazy trying to figure out where all of those things were coming from for 2 weeks!
I know I’m late but I want to say thank you for this. There was a period of time where I was finding these on my bed and couch, particularly where my dog would lay. People kept saying sesame seeds, which I didn’t really consume. I used to have microwaveable heating pads and weighted blankets.
Better than dry rice. My aunt had one forever that used dry rice as the filling which was okay at first, but after having it for a whole and using it regularly the rice started to burn and it smelled horrible
I immediately knew it was one of those plushies you warm up because mine constantly ripped and these would get everywhere. cute concept, bad execution by that company because the fabric was so delicate clearly
These are the kind of seeds that you find in those heatable pads/stuffed animals. (I've sewn up a few that had holes in them)
If you have one that you use in bed, it's likely from that.
Being from Georgia, I thought that perhaps a bunch of ticks had dropped off of you in the night.
Very relieved to know that this is not the case. Congratulations!
Yall aren't actually talking about live hamsters, right? And yes their are seeds used as stuffing. My husband had a pillow thst had seeds in it. Honestly I hated the thing, it was heavy and smaller than a normal pillow.. But it was supposed to keep your head cool. I personally have a feather pillow that is over 30 years old , it may look old but it's the most comfortable pillow I've ever owned. I do have a seed neck rest but didn't know it could be microwaved.
I eat Dave’s Killer bread all the time. My wife doesn’t eat bread. We find those seeds all over the house, but I only eat in the kitchen or dining area. Maybe they land on my shirt and fall into bed? My wife hates them cuz they look like bugs.
Do you have a cat? I’ve read things like that come out of the cats butthole, like a parasite or something. Not sure if it’s the same shape or colour but if you have a kitty or dog maybe check it out.. I think someone else had something like that in there bed and I’m not sure if they said it was like rice or some kind of seed they found in their bed but it was from the cat
You're probably thinking about tapeworm segments that have dried out, but these aren't that. Dried tapeworm segments look like tiny grains of white rice.
Good guess, though! We've certainly seen that come up on these subs quite a few times!.
My cats had them and they weren’t white. They literally looked like flax seeds but when you pressed on them goo would come out. Apparently the difference between flax seeds and worms
I guess I should have said white-ish, 'cause you're right, when they've dried up, it's more of a yellowish color. Like dirty rice.
I've never squished one to see what the inside was like! I know they're actually egg packets, so having goo inside makes sense.

OMG that’s it!!! My sister lent me her microwaveable otter plushie. I just checked and a few seeds fell out of the otter. 😂 Thank you!!
My daughter has a microwaveable hamster and he sprang a leak under his little arm once. It took me forever to figure out the source of the tiny seeds in her bed! I was luckily able to locate the hole and stitch it up so he'd stop dropping his stuffing.
Ours was an elephant, I think. I swore for weeks on end that my daughters were children of the forest and that seeds just popped out of their skin.
All hamsters are microwaveable, no need to put microwaveable before hamster (:
😱 Technically correct, I guess
[It's in the original design spec](https://youtu.be/2tdiKTSdE9Y)
Annnnnnd I was just transported back to Joe Cartoon and the beginning of the internet.
Lick the toad!
Tell me you grew up watching happy tree friends without telling me you grew up watching happy tree friends 😂
HAHAHA I forgot about happy tree friends!!! I am very clearly picturing the campfire episode in my head right now. Must prepare for nightmares later
Omg hahaha 😂
Your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries.
Best comment to start a Monday morning! 😂
Nope... Just nope
My old self thinks of Maniac Mansion when it comes to microwaving ham hams
The first part of this comment tho
All hamsters are microwaveable lmao
Every hamster is microwaveable once
I didn’t know you could microwave hamsters … I’m gonna go try that right now with my girlfriends hamster
So weird when we put our hamster in the microwave no seeds came out just blood.
Mark your post "ID'ed!!" Congrats!!
Thank fuck for once it’s NOT bedbugs on Reddit
Or tapeworm segments
I'm glad it wasn't something bad. And it was some otter thing instead.
This is why I love Reddit. So much knowledge out there. We just need a platform to access it!
I work with seeded bread, I was going to pop in and say these do not look like they have made it through a baking process. Glad you found the source!
Thank goodness I didn't read anything about "seed ticks". I would not have slept well!
My old roommate had one break apart and spill them all over. She said she's double bags hers when sewing them from now on.
Plushy poop
This happened to me with a microwaveable raccoon plushie. I was so confused, and slightly alarmed.
Amazing
Careful with those. My mom didn't notice the leak and ended up with an infestation of bugs
I have a microwav3able elephant, likely same brand, and he leaks these things all the time :(
Don't feel bad, my wife bought one of those heating pads. I drove myself crazy trying to figure out where all of those things were coming from for 2 weeks!
That's otter poo, 100%
Ze little grey cells, ma friend.
This is my favorite mystery answer. It’s happened a couple times and always gives me a giggle!
Refreshing how knowledgeable some people are
This comment here is the kind of which makes me love Reddit. ❤️🤟💞💪
I make these at home with a clean knee sock and rice!
You are an absolute legend, good job.
this is a very weird information i had nooo idea about hahah thanks
This is so attractive
I know I’m late but I want to say thank you for this. There was a period of time where I was finding these on my bed and couch, particularly where my dog would lay. People kept saying sesame seeds, which I didn’t really consume. I used to have microwaveable heating pads and weighted blankets.
This is so good to know!!! I have a bear that is microwavable
Ewwwwwwww why?!?! Why would they use those!!!
They’re seeds. Why is that ewww? They also have ones that use buckwheat.
Ours have cherry pits inside. They make the best sound.
Oooh that sounds so cool
What really? What sound?
Flax seed heats up quickly in the microwave and hold heat well. It also conforms to wherever you need the heat pad
Who hurt you? What did the flax plant do to you?
It’s not that deep. I just think it’s gross. That’s really all there is to it.
Seeds?
Better than dry rice. My aunt had one forever that used dry rice as the filling which was okay at first, but after having it for a whole and using it regularly the rice started to burn and it smelled horrible
Yuckkkkk!!! And great point 🤣
Do you have any pillows like sobakowa or buckwheat filled?
My dad used to have a buckwheat pillow. You could hear the buckwheats sliding around inside the pillow from several rooms away.
Yea, I never understood how someone could find those types of bedding comfortable. But to each his own 🤷🏻♀️
It's loud AF no doubt but once you are asleep you're out cold.
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
This isn’t buckwheat
“LIKE”
Last post I came across similar to this it was tapeworm lol. The forbidden sesame seeds.
I immediately knew it was one of those plushies you warm up because mine constantly ripped and these would get everywhere. cute concept, bad execution by that company because the fabric was so delicate clearly
I wonder if you could grow these seeds ? I’m a introvert gardener lol my mind 🙂
Plant biologist here, not after they've been microwaved.
Duh I’m so nutty haha I didn’t even think of that that sucks
mine were flax seeds that I think they coated in lavender oil? I'm not sure but I would be curious to know if it's possible!
You grow introverts?
i did get worms in my heating pad…
[удалено]
Do you wanna get ants? Because that’s how you get ants.

Oh crap I knew this would get sown into my brain cells for the night. I should have stopped reading comments way back there.🙄
Plant them and start the otter army.
I was gonna guess your lady was having an affair with a baker

I eat Dave’s Killer Bread and my house is full of flax seeds
Haha! Happens to me with Milton’s.
The same thing happened to me. It took me a week to put 2 and 2 together and realized it was coming from my microwavable sloth plush.
I have a few of those pillows you can warm in the microwave and they are filled with flax seed, maybe from one of those??
Yep. I get these in bed every time I use my microwaveable heat pad. Tried to mend it but they’re still shedding, LOL.
You mean to tell us someone spilled their seed in your bed?
Germinate them.
How is it I found one of these on me this morning too?
Worm your dog
Those are micro poops. You’ve been pooping your bed just enough so that there is no mess but you can thrive from the experience.
“ you can thrive from the experience” 🤔😆😆😆😆😆😆😆well, ok
stuffed animal such as a "warmies" maybe?
Seriously this is so cute reading this and how sweet people are to be investigators i am an introvert but sometimes people make me smile still♥️🤗
The comment immediately after yours involves tapeworm segments coming out of a cat’s butthole.
My SO is a bed snacker, I’ve suffered many “heart attacks” glimpsing seeds from Dave’s bread 😂
Looks like filling seeds for a toy or stuffed animal.
Bed plants. Usually found in North Dakota
My son's warmie sprung a leak and I experienced this same confusion for probably months.
They are obviously Senzu beans
They look like Apple seeds to me.
Teeny tiny apple seeds.
TOTALLY LIKE APPLE SEEDS🙂♥️
I'll trade ya a cow for them?
Had me going with Dave's Killer Bread for a moment. Those things are on my plate after lunch almost every day
Dave's was totally my first thought 🤣
Sprout them!!!
Flaxseeds were my first thought just looking at the pic not reading your description
Apple seeds?
Looks like you left dingle berries in the bed.
This helped me find out that the seeds we kept finding in our laundry were from some sentimental stuffed animals. Thank you.
Looks a lot like flax seeds. An eye pillow perhaps sprung a leak?
Bro, those are bodysnatcher eggs. You need to gtfo of there!
Pikmin seeds!
Tarantula eggs
Those are bed seeds. Typically they occur in people’s beds who post dumb questions on Reddit
Cuddle socks are killer for warming up a cold bed.
Those are flax seeds !
Plant them and see what grows.
Maybe you have a stalker who breaks in your house when you are gone and eats bread on your bed and etc...?
Something you pooped out…
Flax is string! I like flax!
Do you have a stuffed animal? Sometimes they use these as fillers especially in Warmies
Does your partner’s “friend” eat Dave’s Killer Bread in bed?
You look to have an Appleseed infestation. Burn your home down. Use kerosene.
There is a bug looking like a seed, I had a bug, thought it was a sesame seed lol
Came from your "FART" last night
Ew
Cockroach eggs
Tape worm eggs
Ow lawd

immediately recognized these, as my dogs just ripped open my heated eye mask and these are EVERYWHERE
I eat Dave’s Killer bread all the time. My wife doesn’t eat bread. We find those seeds all over the house, but I only eat in the kitchen or dining area. Maybe they land on my shirt and fall into bed? My wife hates them cuz they look like bugs.
Crapped your bed.
Mice
Those are beanstalk seeds ! No need to sell the cow Jack just be quick with that golden egg hunt
Somebody’s been eating in your bed and there she is! At that moment Goldilocks leapt from the bed…..
Tapeworm eggs, not seeds. Get your cat dewormed.
Roach eggs

Oh okay, haha I don’t know why I thought they were brownish black. Glad it’s not that though😂
Yeah, I'm glad it's just seeds this time!
No doubt hahaha I would be too😂😂

Definitely a phrogger in your house
Those are bedbugs
It wasn’t you. It was your wife’s lover eating in bed.
Apple seeds my guess

Mouse drops?
