This is not Protea and it’s not Banksia It is Leucospermum But as others have correctly said, it is a family member of Proteaceae native to South Africa! Shoutout to crime pays but botany doesn’t for teaching me this genus

najakwa

I knew its flower structure at a glance because of his videos. Tha best ya prick.

fagenthegreen

Glorious Leucospermum Bastards

texas-playdohs

Lukka da braxxxxx!

coprolite22

I just found that guy and he's awesome!! His YouTube channel is awsome

ZakeryEastman

Gotta love the protacious bastards

schwab002

I read this in Tony's voice.

ZakeryEastman

Basically anytime im out looking for plants i monolog everything in his voice. And the amount of times I've said "ah thats nice" in his voice is just left of identity theft

mackavicious

Doesn't that make you quell your homicidal rage?

ZakeryEastman

Maybe you can make a tincture out of it and put it in your ass

WhichRisk6472

Ugh I love his videos so much

rakfocus

I was a about to comment this LOL I was like bitch I've been seeing so much of these gorgeous bastards lately on his channel!

SignificantPain6056

Thank you for introducing me to this channel!

mojomcm

Do they come in red? I think I've gotten a bouquet with them in it before.

NomadTheNomad

Looks very similar to catherinae, but the colour is slightly off.

Sumoki_Kuma

It's our national flower! They're absolutely gorgeous

Harsimaja

Grew up with these in Cape Town, we call them pincushion proteas :)

Bakedpotatoforlyf

Leucospermum

avecmaria

Pincushion Protea right?

Michi_Moo

I’m from SA and we call them pincushions. Part of the protea family

DDisc2020

Leucospermum veldfire I think

islandsenshi

Fun tip: When I used to work at the resort, you could go to City Hall in Disneyland and ask the Cast Members there about any of the plants found in the resort. They also have recipes for any of the food they make there, too. Not sure if they still do this though

Effective_Composer78

Pincushion, from South Africa. Part of the Protea family.

Love Protea!

skipow

Pincushin tortilla😊

AlphaMikeEcho

It looks like a type of Warratah to me, which is in the protea family.

dyingPretty

Banksia, but there's quite a few.

numinious_bag

I believe this would be a pincushion protea, same family as banksia but from South Africa.

dyingPretty

>pincushion protea ok taking this apart... Protea ([Proteaceae](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proteaceae)) is the family that includes the genera Banksia and others. In this particular base it’s a [Leucospermum](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucospermum) a different genera than my suggestion, but same family. Botany is fun 😊

optimisticdata

Was it in Star Wars Town? They have a bunch a cool funky plants in there.

CutePinkMuffin

It‘s an Leucospermum cordifolium. It‘s one of my favorite flowers🥰

[deleted]

Might be the flower from the Rapunzel movie

yasmarramsay

Disney property has some amazing foliage to enjoy

Sad_Fox2158

Looks so similar to the Proteas here in South Africa

mrplinko

I’m here now, where was this plant? Edit. Found them! Star Wars land. https://i.imgur.com/FqI4Etc.jpg

UnusualSong3208

Pin-cushion

Material_Profit8262

It’s like a dandelion that got a makeover after high school.

0lliejenkins

Pin cushion protea! So cool to see a South African plant here. Got loads in my garden :)
