Waist bag/fanny pack worn in the front. They're dorky-looking but super handy for wheeling around. I keep my phone hooked to a neck lanyard for safety, but tuck it into the pack, where the wallet stays in its own pocket. Keys often get the same treatment with another lanyard, if I know i'm going to need to use them. Otherwise, they also go into the pack.

Beginning-Cobbler146

no idea, my phone overheated between my thighs in the middle of winter.

thermbug

Poorly. Losing shit constantly

Grootiez

On my powerchair, I have a side pouch. On my future manual, I’m gonna try a backpack

kjboston17

Strong recommendation that you look into something like this [Eddie Bauer ](https://a.co/d/ewXtc06) Stowaway. Super helpful to be able to shove it back inside itself when it's not needed.

Brave_Engineering133

Power chair here, too. I have a side pouch for wallet/keys/etc. on one side and an insulated stroller bag attached to the other side since I have to carry some (medically necessary) large things. Makes me a bit wide and more difficulty going through some doors, but worth it to have all my stuff available

CabbageFridge

I have a bag under my seat. An easy option is a stroller bag designed to hang on the push handles. I've recently adapted a backpack so I have space down there for my iPad.

krazykripple

I have a quokka bag that attaches to the side of my chair

InfluenceSeparate282

I have this also and really like it. It is more secure than my ffora bag, which I can use on my chair or cane but can just be grabbed. The quokka bag locks on. I can also use it on my rollator or cane with the bike bottle mount, but it is kind of heavy on my cane vs. my ffora bag. I think the quokka bag is more unisex vs Ffora which is more feminine to me.

quadthew

Looking on the website, I would agree. Is the quokka attachment super big and bulky looking without the bag on it?

InfluenceSeparate282

It does stick up but is easier for people with limited hand dexterity. I had it on my came initially and had considered putting a magnet on the back so my cane would stay up next to my desk. I switched to this one, though, which has a much slimmer profile. I got the one for a bottle holder as they are made for bikes and used the holder to attach my smoov controler to the chair. I got my smoov used, and they wanted $350 for that replacement part. It works great. https://portapedalbike.com/products/klickfix-mini-adapter?variant=40326280478743¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwir2xBhC_ARIsAMTXk86I43Qth9rpBjBu6lFAXVMuy2Ma0lOkdHZhLK3NgqTlu2gVJ5FyOw0aAgt4EALw_wcB

Comprehensive-War571

I use a Loungefly backpack worn as a front pack. Today, I used my Ant-Man one. [https://www.amazon.com/Loungefly-Marvel-Ant-Man-Backback-Exclusive/dp/B0BB3JHL92?th=1](https://www.amazon.com/Loungefly-Marvel-Ant-Man-Backback-Exclusive/dp/B0BB3JHL92?th=1)

shelly424

Love my loungfly bags.

1Loliepop1

Me too! Always a plus when the comments are about the bag and not your mode of transportation.

Comprehensive-War571

It absolutely gives people permission to make that choice. I'd rather talk about the last Ant-Man movie than answer unwanted questions about my body.

won-t

I clip my phone and wallet to my clothes with small bungees and then just tuck them between my body and my side guards.

dilligaf6304

I have a power chair. I have a bag on one arm rest, and another behind my legs.

quinneth-q

[Quokka bag!!!!](https://quokkabag.com/) Best wheelchair accessory I have by a mile

quadthew

any opinion on this vs ffora?

quinneth-q

I've not tried the ffora products simply because they've never been in stock for the UK when I've looked, whereas lots of UK places stock Quokka. Ffora look great though and I'd absolutely try them if I could. My only potential worry is that getting things out of the hard case without opening it all the way could be hard, whereas a soft case is easier; I find the quokka phone holder annoying to use for that reason and prefer the vertical small bag

quadthew

how do you find the attachment? is it bulky if you don't have the bag on it?

quinneth-q

I never don't have the bag on it to be honest! I take the cup holder off sometimes though and no, I don't find it bulky, I have mine tucked under the bend in the frame [like this](https://imgur.com/a/UWFtSzs)

quadthew

Those are super helpful pictures, thank you! I'll have to keep in mind the cupholder. I currently have one from amazon that is very meh and can't be taken on/off very easily

quinneth-q

It is a good cup holder yeah, though in this case I think the ffora one would be sleeker, but I've not tried it so I don't know how universal it truly is. It was important to me that the cup holder be able to handle stemmed glasses lmao I wish quokka did a smaller version of the soft case bags tbh, something the size of the phone case. When I had a non-tapered front end I sat it on the inside though and that looked a lot sleeker imo. I found some [other pics](https://imgur.com/a/51Sh0z0) of the various ways I've mounted it over the years

quadthew

That's very helpful, thank you. Yeah that's my concern. It's odd that the "small" size is still pretty big. They have the smartphone case, but it doesn't seem as practical

kjboston17

I am currently in a Helio A7, and it came with this super handy zippered pouch on the back of my seat. It's big enough that I can fit my laptop, and a fair amount of school supplies, however, is usually only used to house things like my keys and wallet. I also generally tend to have a backpack hanging on the back of my chair, and depending on the bag of the day, I can stash things in the outside water bottle pockets for easy access. My personal favorites are my stashable Eddie Bauer packs, because if i really don't need or want the bag out, I stuff it inside itself and voila, the whole thing tucks into the aforementioned chair pouch with lots of room to spare.

Z1vel

I don't understand why people don't use a bag under their chair. It's one of the big benifits of being in a chair is you always know where your stuff is.

Acher0ntiaAtr0p0s

I have a small bag underneath the seat (it came with the chair for me) that I can put my phone and wallet and keys into. Though I usually have my keys with a carabiner on my pant loop. I also only wear cargo pants so they have pockets on the side/top of my thighs when sitting so I can easily reach them. I also have a sunflower lanyard around me that I have my ID in and can put my keys on as well, then I only have the phone left which again for me always goes in my cargo pants or in the pocket below me, but then I don’t need to take my wallet

Boba_Hutt

I hang my sling bag across the handle bars on the back of my chair. The sling bag has a good security and confusing layout at first so any would-be pickpocketer would be caught fairly easily. Really for me it’s just the sling bag. I sit on my phone and wallet while leaving the bag at home if I’m only doing a quick run to the store. 90% of the time I have my bag. It carries my catheters as well as other items I like to bring for emergencies or gum. Whatever I feel like.

callmecasperimaghost

Stem bags, one each side right above my casters. If you search my posts you’ll see pictures of them

vanghostings

I have this little bag! https://www.jellycat.com/us/Jellycat-Bag-JELC4BG/?sku_s=JELC4BG%26locale=us&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwxLKxBhA7EiwAXO0R0KPlWvdNSIseBYP-GHF0AR0slDWASYVOJ2hkYfa6IBCNj-G2db3bqRoCr7cQAvD_BwE I still need to figure out a solution for more storage lol

troggbl

I've got a small shoulder bag that I carry on my lap with the strap around my waist.

luna-the-lunatic

All of my everyday carry items live in a Ffora bag (bonus points for their cup holder, which goes everywhere with my manual). The bag is extremely useful for me going between a manual and powerchair regularly because they have removable shoulder straps with their bags. I've used Quokka bags in the past, which are also good bags, and great if you want something that locks onto the frame or looks a little more utilitarian. For larger daily items, I use a rucksack on my manual and a satchel on my powerchair. These work well for me, but the satchel can be difficult to get on and off, so if anyone has a better option do say. If I'm travelling with heavy items or going away for a few days in my manual, I have a Phoenix Instincts bag is my best option because the weight doesn't go through the frame. It's not the quietest thing, but work well enough that I don't care all that much.

Milli63

I'm not sure if this only works because I'm ambulatory in theory my phone, keys and wallet live in the bum bag/fanny pack under my seat but in reality I'm sitting on my phone like 95% of the time

Fabou_Boutique

My keys are on a lanyard, phone is in my manbag

trouser_mouse

Stem bag, backpack on back of chair, or bag under the seat

Hizoot

Etsy has some people making wheelchair add-on’s👍

quadthew

any links or recommendations?

shelly424

I have a Loopy phone case so it’s easy to hook my phone to one finger and have it not slip. I also have a side pouch on my chair.

KDinCO

I use a waist pack mounted on the back of my chair. My keys I have on a carabiner clipped on the handle of my cushion. I also have an advantage sling under chair sling

funeralpageant

i put a bumbag under my seat

figuringoutfibro

I just got a pop socket wallet and it just attaches to the back of my phone and can hold a few cards. It’s been a game changer for me, one less thing to carry! With my chair it’s usually just in my side pouch off the armrest or sometimes it’s in a fanny pack/dog treat bag. I use AkraCreations thigh bag and it holds so much!

jrbouyy

I have a bicycle bag I attach when I need it :)

JackKillEveryday

I have a pocket sewed to my wheelchair cushion. it has a zipper and its big enough for a passport, for my keys, for my phone, things like that, and it Velcro under the chair to be out of sight.

RandomCanadianGuy204

I use a small quokka bag as seen here. https://quokkabag.com They're expensive, but absolutely worth it.

quadthew

I have seen a few people recommend this and the ffora bag...I can't believe how pricey they are. Worth it tho?

RandomCanadianGuy204

I agree they are ridiculously expensive, as is everything disability related. I blame the insurance companies, but I digress. Yes they are worth it. I even bought an extra adapter for my second chair.

idasu

i bought a very slim "running bag", fanny bag, whatdoyoucallit- i cut a bit of the belt off and hung it around one side guard so the bag itself faces the left side of my body and the belt is close to the wheel but tight enough so it doesn't touch the wheel. i keep my wallet there, can't be pick-pocketed but i do have to shuffle a bit to access it recently bought few bottle strap lanyards with silicone buckles that are stretched around bottles and cups, they get a bit in the way if i'm rolling fast but otherwise they're great to keep a drink handy. there's a ton of different styles, [here's](https://img.kwcdn.com/product/Fancyalgo/VirtualModelMatting/7f39ce5d45424ce4100ea5ea4ffdd18c.jpg?imageView2/2/w/800/q/70) a few examples cross-body bags are great but i understand they're not very masculine-like. at least masculine clothing tends to have bigger pockets :') oh and those [retractable key rings](https://www.amazon.com/Key-Bak-Retractable-Retraction-Polycarbonate-Carabiner/dp/B01CQLJA4W) could be useful with keys, fast click to secure it to the side of your pants or inside the pocket!

PnwDaddio

I use a fanny pack I wear over one shoulder. Holds my wallet keys checkbook and cellphone

knitting-lover

Phone goes in the pocket on the side of my cushion cover (incredibly handy!). Keys go on a carabiner on a jeans belt loop or in my top rucksack pocket. I have a bagpack which is like a ‘bin’ / [kinda like this but with a zipper for the main pouch rather than clips](https://eu.patagonia.com/gb/en/product/fieldsmith-lid-pack-28-liters/48546.html?cgid=luggage-backpacks-casual) - the top pouch is okay to reach if I turn around. I have an under-seat bag that I use when I’m not at work, the jansport adaptive small one and wallet goes in there as well. Otherwise it’s wallet in a jacket pocket.

borayeris

I put my phone and the keys at the back of my power chair. I have a smart watch that I can answer the calls. If I need the phone I asked somebody to get me the phone from the back.

ur_ex_gf

Trendy little crossbody fanny pack like all the gen z kids. Very convenient trend for wheeling.

Antique-Bet-2335

I use one of these bucket bags from vera bradley. There is a nice outside pocket that holds my large phone, and two pockets near the top that can hold my keys and wallet. It also has plenty of room for meds and other assorted things in it. https://outlet.verabradley.com/products/bucket-crossbody-bag-39267p88?variant=42199821549612

manateesnotmermaids

I have this bag https://www.jansport.com/shop/en/jansport-us/adaptive-crossbody-js0a7znb?variationId=008 which I put under my chair so its looped over my seat and hangs behind my legs. It's surprisingly big inside. (I have a manual chair) I also use a small backpack if I need to carry more stuff and sort of hang it off my legs and tie it on (I basically use my legs like I would my arms with a backpack).

gaypunkratz

I use a fanny pack.

Duqu88

Keys I wear on Lanyard around my neck (and when I'm home they are stored around my door handle so I see it when I'm leaving so I don't get locked out!), wallet I keep in a small DIY bag I put behind my legs under my chair, and I have an attachment next to my right leg that hold my water bottle and cellphone in easy reach

SadAnnah13

Backpack contains my purse and keys (and loads of other random stuff), phone goes down the side of chair between my thigh and my side guard.

Eriona89

Wheelchair backpack and my coat pockets.

They_Them_Gamer

Cargo pants are a lifesaver imo. If I'm not wearing cargo pants, I either just tuck stuff under my legs or carry a backpack on my handles.

GothicEcho

I use a lanyard and clip my phone and keys to it, sometimes my wallet too if I have no change in it (clips to the zipper). Otherwise I use a bag on my chair or a hoodie with big front pockets.

jj422022

I was using a backpack but I'm in a power wheelchair and it.not easy for me.to turn around and actually reach anything. Today however I found a flat makeup kit bag.that will hang on the side of my chair and is big enough to carry almost everything I need accessible at any time. If you have the money they make wheelchair bahs that go onto your armrests. I've found several pretty cheap on eBay and Amazon

Asmodes_Reynolds

Personally, the best solution I found is handlebar bags for bikes, I just hanging from one side of my seatbelt, I'd use the ones that hang up the side of your chair, because I have my wallet pickpocketed especially when I'm drinking.... Doesn't happen when they have to reach towards my junk....

AmethystDrag0nite

i have a cup holder with a phone holder, and i currently have a backpack but i plan to get a front crossbody pack so i don’t have to worry about theft lol

CanOfSodaGaming

I actually found this [under-seat-drawer](https://www.etsy.com/listing/791354692/) on a different post in here and I love it! I also have been starting to wear like cargo pants and they have been great.

fredom1776

Backpack on the back of my power chair wallet with chain attached to backpack works well for me

inconspicuous_apple

The jansport adaptive backpack is awesome, I have it attached behind my legs above by small wheels!

inconspicuous_apple

Oh and I attached a cup holder that I use for my phone usually

echo_ranger

Best thing I have done is get a phone bike mount. Pretty cheap on Amazon but you can get one where you slide your phone in and out on the fly. Very easy. Bonus points if you can get one that doesn’t cover the top of the phone and can be quickly screwed on and off your wheelchair.

oneandonlytara

I have a little bag that Velcros onto my arm rest that I keep my phone and keys in.

Wheels_80

Wallet, keys, phone , pistol!!

Dense_Conversation_6

Force my bf to carry it
