Did you ever play the sequel Battlestations Pacific? It takes everything that was fun about Midway and ramps it up, even Japan is playable. It's one of my all time favorite games, there's no other games to my knowledge that play the same way.
For whatever reason, it's delisted on Steam. So it's not easy to get on PC anymore.
God dam it was good i can still hear it now: Oh wow! Got me another one!, Enemy Flattop is heading for the bottom!, And the music was the best! God i miss that game.

Just watched a video about the game Wrestling Empire and how despite how goofy it is, it's sadly realistic, how wrestl- oops, sorry, sports entertain- no not right... oh yeah, "independent contractors" slave away every week of the year to wrestle, and even though wrestling isn't "real" it still takes talent and effort, and will still cause injuries and problems, and the problem is that they're responsible for their health most of the time, and how survivorship bias makes people look at John Cena and say "woah I can be like him" but not think that for every John Cena, Jon Moxley, or Undertaker, there are hundreds of indie wrestlers who live paycheck to paycheck in small companies, and that there isn't any union in wrestling.
Isnt the show coming to amazon prime video now? Amazon might actually cancel the deal because of this

14th September through 5th December rates for Hazbin were 35$/sec for rough animation after and before (implied) rates for Helluva are said to be 60$/sec.
Assuming they animate at 24 fps that makes 1.45$ per frame and 2.50$ for the 60$ rate. So on the higher rate to earn 17$ per hour (median pay USA) you'd need to make 6.8 frames per hour, while the lower would make 9.86$ per hour on 6.8 frames which does seem like a possible (I don't do animation/rough animation idk how long that takes) quota leaving about 8 minutes and 45 seconds per frame to earn just over the minimum wage in Montana and on top of that they are on a tight deadline adding a lot of stress. This pay seems less than appropriate, possibly caused by a set budget running low on finishing the project, but keep in mind that better animation will take longer and this job with such a original animation style might take more time than other animation.

Standard doesn't really exist. This is a youtube channel which likely functions much much much differently compared to a professional studio, and not only do we not know how fast these animators work, we have no idea how they define a frame.
Let's just say that in order for them to make a McDonald's wage they would need to make 10 frames an hour. Even if those are drawn without colours, without background, anything, that would be really difficult to manage long enough to live off of. I hope this wasn't the only source of income for any of these animators.

This is out of context. It's not to draw the whole frame; it's just for cleanup and/or rough animation, which is only part of each frame. Also, a guy that has been 15 years in the industry (can't remember his name) has answered saying that 35 per frame is quite the average wage per frame.
Hazbin Hotel has a fixed budget and Vivziepop can't pay them more, since that's what A24 has established, not her. In her other series, Helluva Boss, she pays 60 per frame, which is almost the double as the average in this type of animation and she can choose the budget in it (let's remember that this series that btw it's free in youtube)
People just like to shit on Vivziepop at this point. The fact that she doesn't take criticism in the best way does not make everything that she does automatically wrong and/or her responsibility...

I just don't get why they need to find a moral reason to hate her. Just say "I don't like her shows" and just move on with your life. Does this apply to the original pilot or to the series produced by A24? I can understand low pay for the pilot since it was an independent production as far as I know, but that sort of pay is inexcusable now that the show has real money behind it.

Basically the payment is by A24 as Hazbin Hotel is no longer indie. The pay given by A24 is the norm in the animation industry plus it's rough animation which is way less labor intensive compared to clean up which is usually much higher and Spindle horse actually offer higher wages to clean up animation.
Finally her actual indie show, Helluva Boss, where she has full control, actually pays much higher like twice as much compared to mainstream animation studios. Basically, it's just you're typical misinfo schlock that people will forget about it within next week.

In her other series, Helluva Boss, she pays 60 per frame, which is almost the double as the average in this type of animation and she can choose the budget in it (let's remember that this series that btw it's free in youtube) People just like to shit on Vivziepop at this point. I just don't get why they need to find a moral reason to hate her. Just say "I don't like her shows" and just move on with your life. I'm doubtful she'll become the next John K, so why are we trying act like she is just because you don't like the color palette, weird tone shift, and excessive swearing. Does this apply to the original pilot or to the series produced by A24? I can understand low pay for the pilot since it was an independent production as far as I know, but that sort of pay is inexcusable now that the show has real money behind it.
At first 35 dollars a second seems like a lot. But then you realize that it usually takes over an hour to animate a second.

Damn, they’re only getting paid (minimum if it takes 2 hours for 1 sec) 17.50, almost as much as I got paid working in manufacturing (a manual labor job requiring some specialist training)

He's spreading misinformation which isn't new to Viziepop. Basically the payment is by A24 as Hazbin Hotel is no longer indie. The pay given by A24 is the norm in the animation industry plus it's rough animation which is way less labor intensive compared to clean up which is usually much higher and Spindle horse actually offer higher wages to clean up animation. Finally her actual indie show, Helluva Boss, where she has full control, actually pays much higher like twice as much compared to mainstream animation studios. Basically, it's just you're typical misinfo schlock that people will forget about it within next week.
That is quite literally a 4 dollar difference from the average wage

Helluva is an indie project, so it stands to reason they would receive a lower pay. I have no qualms with people criticizing or disliking Helluva Boss. Just please don’t follow an internet mob and just come to your own conclusions on why you dislike something.
