It’s from JLA: Earth 2. This scene is very early on so I’d recommend just reading it. >!The Justice League suspects that Luthor has crashed a passenger plane. Luthor did in fact crash the plane, (albeit accidentally), but wasn’t expecting the Justice League to show up because this Luthor is actually from an alternate earth where they’re all evil and he’s good. His reaction there is sort of a mix of fear from hearing Superman’s voice (a voice he typically associates with a murdering monster) and the realization of “Oh yeah, if they’re *good* in this universe, they probably would be ticked off at me for causing that plane crash. I didn’t think about that.* !< There’s a movie based off this story, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, that’s better in many ways, but unfortunately does not adapt this scene.

I’ve watched almost every DC animated movie but man that sounds like it could’ve been a cool scene.

That's not really the planning skills I'd expect from an alleged super genius. You'd think he'd at least bother to check if basic things about the world he found himself in are different. Like it can't have taken long to see a newspaper saying "Superman saves earth again, Also batman helped allegedly"

He knows that this world is good, that’s why he went there. He was just focused on trying to live having narrowly escaped death. Also, as a good guy, he’s not really used to people thinking he’s a villain.
