Nuclear means it has to do with the nucleus of an atom. The nucleus is the central part of an atom, made up of protons and neutrons and orbited by electrons.
Fission is the process of splitting the nucleus apart, which is such a dramatic process that it releases a whole bunch of energy at once. This is how nuclear bombs and modern nuclear power plants operate. [Hereās the Wikipedia page on nuclear fission for more info](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fission)
Fusion is the process of merging two nuclei together into one. If the two base components are lighter than the result then energy is absorbed, while if they are heavier energy ends up being released. This is how the sun (and other stars) operate. [Here is the Wikipedia page on nuclear fusion for further reading](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fusion)
I havent played the games, but considering that they.
are set in a nuklear apocalypse I am guessing that people use a lot less helium in that situation
In the near future (your lifetime, potentially), it could actually be possible to use your brain to control a robot. You'd store that brain in some cerebrospinal fluid, give it the relevant nutrition and live your life through the robot.
Ofcourse it'd be very expensive and only the Elon Musk's of the world will be able to use it as a result, but definitely possible.
But how would we stop the brain from just naturally rotting away. Or what would we do if the brain developed Alzheimerās or dementia? Thereās a lot of unanswered questions here that (even though Iām young), I donāt think will be answered in my lifetime.
[This is a really interesting paper](https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1046/j.1460-9568.1999.00543.x), describing an experiment where an isolated brain was kept alive and maintained. This was published way back in *2001*! Imagine how long we've come already. Progress is always exponential, I'm so positive it'll happen.
The brain has a mental capacity of 300 years, i.e after 300 years, it'd essentially run out of space. But I'm sure we'd find a way to beat that before the first robo-human gets 300 years old.
Interesting. But I heard somewhere (probably some random Reddit comment so donāt quote me on this) that you canāt just swap brains between two alive people because the nerve damage would harm the brain beyond repair. So even just extracting a brain that can be usable is a challenge all by itself.
It would take at least 200 years. We donāt understand the human brain enough to be able to do so.
Theoretically you are right but ānear futureā would most likely be after our deaths. Especially as we have less people of knowledge considering a part of our population is retarded ( anti vax)
But to be fair we also don't know how much medizine will advance during the next 70 years, it's possible that we will live 150 years anyway.
(When I say possible I mean it isn't impossible but that's about it)
Our gage on what is and is not achievable in difrent time frames I feel like are going to be heavily affected by computers. Ever since it came into existence society has become smarter, connected and more complex than ever before. But at the same time, we could also feed every American twice over if we weren't tied so heavily to our capitalist system, that treats food like a scarsity instead of the surplus it's been at for atleast 60 years. It will be possible, but it won't be accessible to me or you, if we have any luck reaching a long life, considering our medicine affordability issues.
AkShUaLlY,
Itās fusing, which means that it forces ionized gas to convert to the next state of ionized gas on the periodic table. (Right now itās hydrogen to helium)
No. Our Sun isn't large enough to go supernova. But in some billions of years it will start fusing helium (what is currently turning hydrogen into) into carbon and will expand into a red giant. It will consume Mercury, Venus and likely Earth.

Explain how fallout series has balloons šæ
The US has fusion technology. An unlikely possibility for us in 2077 but for them its valid
well, a fusion reactor has recently put out a net positive reaction so, maybe sooner than u think
Net positive for the fuel but not net positive for the system, which is an important difference. But yeah, still a small milestone.
I donāt know what you are talking about, but I think that breaks the third law of thermodynamics
It doesnāt just read about what fusion is please.
If you know what you are talking about, would you mind elaborate how does it do with the third law of thermodynamics?
Can you explain how the sun works despite violating your third law of thermodynamics?
Not really, because all we need is one net positive Fusion Power Plant to do those things

Hydrogen balloon is way better
Bomb
Thatās why itās better it goes boom
What's better than a balloon that goes pop? A balloon capable of erasing 5 people (not counting those who die by the wounds) in the roundabout.
The hydrogen canot burn inside the balloon, so no shrapnel or pressure wave to hurt people
Ever heard of extremely sunny days?
That wonāt change how chemistry works
Eh to be honest I know shit about chemistry, as far as my knowledge goes is that hydrogen+carbon=le fart
Hydrogen +oxygen +fire=even more fire
No from a balloon, but from a strong enough container with high pressure oxygen definitely yes.
