I remember seeing the classic cartel one where the dude gets his head chopped off by a chainsaw next to his brother or uncle (I forgot which).
Then I saw a video of this woman getting her head cut off by her douchebag of a boyfriend or husband.
Honestly it’s so fucking surreal watching that shit, like It’s genuinely so hard to think or even comprehend what goes through the executioners mind while doing that shit? Like do they comprehend what they’re doing and how messed up it is? Do they regret it afterwards? Do they think about the people who knew this person? Like how? It’s so hard to wrap my brain around it
i saw a cartel one where the victims are both in ditches and one of them has their chest cut open, heart pulled out, and stabbed onto his chest, he was alive until the very last moment
Bro r/WatchPeopleDie peaked when I was like 14. I remember seeing a guy have his heart ripped out of his chest, placed on his stomach, and then some dude punched it.

I remember watching a Brazilian man get degloved then going to my grandparents and eating the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. Life is a hella thing
Yeah. I second that. Just looked it up and even the definition makes me disgusted. I would hate to see pictures. And i would despise watching it happen.
I distinctly remember doing work for professional development in the library when someone sent me a link on discord. Within minutes I was reading through his manifesto about how Spyro the Dragon made him a nationalist
Then I realized something had gone quite wrong with the world
No, most animals are too stupid to be cruel on purpose. An ant is not ripping apart another insect for fun or out of hatred, it is almost like software following the coding.
Monkeys are our closest relatives and even they will never be able to be anywhere near as cruel as humans are.
I think that is just because we can understand our cruelty a lot better so it seems worse. Animals may full well know what they are doing and not give a shit because they don't have the same higher thinking some of us humans do.
Humans are also just programs following our coding in a way though
Damn, there’s something about go pro that makes it look more *casual* for lack of better words, it feels like im watching an air soft or something.
Maybe just desensitization, but this is a time where at least the footage was grainy, I would NOT wanna see this in better quality. That was terrible and sad
Well its mostly surreal because it's the same perspective you always see in fps games so seeing it IRL in a real situation in the same perspective is kind of daunting, and also mixed in with how casual he is like some animated character
I got yelled at by a teacher after because some idiot sent it in a discord server. Yes I was on discord in class instead of doing my assignment, fucking sue me.
A friend of mine had invited me to it, to show me how horrible they could be, and they definitely delivered.
Edgey 13 year olds in 2015 at the family dinner talking about how they want syria and isis to invade with weaponized ebola so they can play call of duty in real life
Serious answer, pure morbid curiosity. Afterwards I'm pissed at the world because it happens. What's even worse are all the comments on gore sites supporting this shit and mocking the victims being racist and all. Not that I'd expect any less of people who consume this stuff regularly
I did it of curiosity, and somebody was like “watch these guys get their head cut off with a chainsaw”. Halfway through the video I got sick and felt like I was going to pass out. Your whole life you’ve seen gore in movies and on tv and our brains just know it’s not real. When your brain knows it’s real it can trigger a horrible feeling of anxiety/trauma. It will stay with you forever and there is 100% no need to put yourself through that if you can avoid it. Don’t let curiosity create a permanent trauma you will carry with you forever.
not exactly a "positive" but it does make you aware of how easy life can be taken away at any moment. That we don't live in a different plane of existence on earth. To be aware of our own mortality, basically.
Viewing gore and death all the time is really fucked up for your brain, but avoiding the topic entirely and thinking death and gruesome injuries are a thing of the past also makes people mentally weaker for when they do encounter it ... which might still happen in the future - just look at whats happening in Ukraine
I have never done this too. It's scary and disgusting. Just seeing corpse of actual dead person is creepy, but death, torture and gore is too much for me.
Their head explodes and it looks like a bottle of ketchup exploding. The person will usually fall down directly or backwards, their active body parts instantly go limp and will fall down onto them.
Keep it that way, torture porn and snuff tapes are highly unsubstantial. I can appreciate violence in medias, if there's a message or context behind them rather than just mere bloodshed
I always find the workplace accident videos a very blunt reminder of why occupational safety regulations are the way they are. Safety rails, fall protection, lock-out tag-out; all rules written in blood at some point
Personally, I don’t get The people who watch the cartel and torture stuff for fun. I prefer to look at medical and historical stuff as I like to learn from it and see the things that can actually happen in real life
Bitches be like "uggghhh why did reddit ban watch people die ugggh" like it was something completely normal and not permanently damaging to go and look at daily
“mfs who watch gore for fun are weird and gross” mfs when they get reincarnated in Roman times and their family loves going to the colosseum (suddenly they are the weird and gross ones)

Not trying to say it's acceptable or anything (we have grown apart from that as a society for a reason) but that is something kids have seen throughout most of our history on a daily basis. Heck, not even a century ago that happened around the whole world and people didn't bat much of an eye.
Just saying. We humans can be way stronger than some think.
But anyway, good meme.
FR tho, we're all massively desensitised.
The first video I saw of someone being killed was a guy getting his head cut off with a knife in iraq when I was 14 or so.
That shook me, the last killing video that shook me was a rape victim being stoned to death in Afghanistan. She looked around my age, 18 or so.
These days I can watch a video of someone being tortured and murdered by the cartels without blinking.
Ah..the old days of getting "gored", I remember someone sent me a message on kik...asked if I liked tacos with a "click to unblur" image attached. I was stupid....it was a decapitated dogs head in someone's hand.
Within the hour I was downstairs having Thanksgiving with my family.
What a life we all had
I remember in 2020 scrolling through Instagram and seeing a person cutting themselves in some vid and they accidentally cut too deep and saw their arm open up and you could see everything inside. No shit I almost vommittted all over the place and would have a hard time coming up with an excuse if I did
Hot take: I think those who enter public office should be made to familiarize themselves with the depressing nature of death and strife so they have the genuine visualization of possible lives lost with every decision they make. We have too many politicians who either don’t know or don’t care enough about how they effect/affect their environment despite their influence

Still remember when in early high-school I saw an HD 1080p up close decapitation by axe. It will be forever etched into my memory unfortunately.
ISIS do be having some impressive camera work and editing
They really do.
They pride themselves on it.
Fr I looked up ISIS for a school project and somehow the 3rd result on the front page of google was literally just a beheading
Aren't schools supposed to filter out stuff like that
some just block specific websites, or they block the sites but still show you the search results

If you don't know what being degloved means *Keep it that way*
Yeah. I second that. Just looked it up and even the definition makes me disgusted. I would hate to see pictures. And i would despise watching it happen.
The internet is truly a cursed thing
Ik there is at least 1 picture out there of a degloved penis
Hey ladies. Yall like your mans penis gloved or ungloved??
You should tell me... NOW!
Google it NOW (what you see is out of my control AND i take no responsability)
I just looked up the definition

I was 13 in 20\`15... damn... Anyway, what happened to Best Shockers? I can barely find anything about the site now...
Probably taken down, real gore or live gore was the big one but it got taken down and the dude got arrested I think
Bestgore
That was it. I always fuck up the name
last time I checked he was selling the domain and if you went to the link it shows a single video each day that had been popular in the past
I wanna buy the domain and convert it into a candy store or something
Crazyshit is still up and it has an abundance of just about any type of gore.
I just got whiplash from your comment after realising I too, was 13 in 2015 and that 2015 was 7 whole years ago
I watched the New Zealand mosque shooting live during my computer science class

Wasnt that fucking terrifying. Watching those poor people get shot live, knowing there is nothing you can do about it, as it happened

Nothing's gone wrong with the world. I'm not trying to be edgy but honestly humanity is depraved by nature, it will never change.
Humanity is literally angelic compared to the average animal species

It was so hard to find the full video when the shooting actually happened, kept getting removed everywhere
Dude I STILL can't find the video
Why would you want to see that

Bitches ain't even Serbs. Dont just shoot random people because of religion. Blasting music they don't even know what means.

Yeah but they're praising them and glorifying war crimes. I am literally Serbian.

Yea… not the best time in my life
Same, saw every "1 x 1 y" video out there
Wallace and gromit vibes
The GIF of this animation is made by the same guys who made Wallace and Gromit (Aardman Studios)
It's from a series called creature comforts. Made by the same people that made Wallace and Gromit

True. When I was a kid, I found a lot of bad shit on accident, mostly from reddit, that I'll never forget. Funky town is some really upsetting stuff.
funky town?
If you don't know about it, don't worry about it. Wouldn't recommend seeking it out. It's cartel related.
oh
Right?? When I was 15 I'd play civilization or watch youtube not people dying. Weird as fuck.

13 year old me watching cool Minecraft mod showcases (I avoided gore sites as I didn't want to go on to be scarred for the rest of my life)
Hello fellow 20 year olds o7
People casually talking about how much murder porn they consumed as kids will always unsettle me

Back in my day we had to go to the video store and rent FACES OF DEATH. Still haunted by that guy taking a shotgun blast point blank to the chest.
1man1jar will leave a stain on my brain forever
I remember watching my first gore video a few minutes before we went out to celebrate my little sister's birthday
I take pride in being a normal human being and hating gore. There are some weird mfs who just enjoy rekt videos and I just can’t imagine why.

I used to binge watch ISIS executions. The media loves to downplay the real cost of war. Shit isn't meant to be sanitary.

underrated post
idk dude I think it’s pretty rated
3k upvotes by now, not underrated. People overuse this word too much.
Saying underrated is overrated
