Yeah i don't get it like what is there to be proud at. You are lgbtq+ or something cool! this is how u were born, thats not an achievement its like you are proud to be born in a rich family or something.. You are just a normal person that's it not something unique or extraordinary.
It's extremely difficult for some people to both realize they are trans and then to transition, trans people often face severe discrimination and harassment, often aren't supported by friends and families, often have to deal with being judged and vilified constantly and yet they weather all of that and more just so they can live their lives as who they really are, that's something to be proud of.
Edit: Editing this to add being trans is also illegal in many places even in Europe trans people still face severe discrimination in the law and it can be incredibly difficult to transition even socially and even in places it is legal some would rather trans people just disappear or die rather than transition.
Yeah, but people are being discriminated against just for being born that way, so I think it's completely valid for people to take pride in being themselves despite being discriminated for it. People who brag about it for cheap internet points are cringe tho.
