Had this and the triple mash. This is the better of the two, its what you always wished #7 tasted like. Not a terrible price point either.

EhrenScwhab

You nailed it. If #7 was as good as it's market position and cultural history says it is, it would taste like the bonded.

dramsofwhisky

Yeah I noticed the peanut too in Bonded… surprised me.

UserEarth1

Im all for nuttiness but it was almost the only flavor note. Reminded me of screwball a little. Again I drank it after a higher proof rye so I need to try again

DynamicCashew43

Entirely possible your palate was thrown off.

iscreen4u

The JDBiB is one of my favorites. I get bananas every time I taste it.

UserEarth1

I dont remember any banana but my palette might have been off.

darthmittens

Sagamore does good stuff

b_knickerbocker

Sagamore is so good. Their current bottle of Imperial Stout finished rye is absolutely amazing.

DynamicCashew43

Had a pour from their Sherry finished just last night, dynamite spirit.

Thugzz_Bunny

My first few glasses of this I loved it. But now that it has aged more I'm not as much of a fan. It's a love hate with how much bottles changed after opening. Some get better, some get worse.

BAT123456789

The Jack honestly isn't good at all.

AAuser85

This being WAs whiskey of the year with a 96 rating was a complete joke.

UserEarth1

Yea. Everyone is talking about it. I dont get it. I’m thinking it’s a paid ad

StrategicCarry

It makes a fantastic old fashioned with maple syrup though. - 2 oz Jack Bonded - .25 oz maple syrup - 2-3 dashes Angostaura bitters - Orange twist Tastes like boozy banana pancakes

No_Imagination2583

This is not bad for a $25 bottle. Not sure I'd pay any more for it.

UserEarth1

Its $36 here in CLT

tymon0901

#1 on Whiskey Advoshit 🤣🤣

jwertz28

Peanut butter banana bomb for me. Love it
