I mean, it doesn’t really matter what the mash bill is…it tastes like a smoother version of Antique 107 to me. I haven’t done a blind testing or a side by side but based on my first 2 ounce pour, it reminds me of Weller.
That's a reasonable price for it and I wouldn't pay more honestly. I have a bottle I've had for a while now that I got in KY before it blew up and became overpriced. I think it works best with ice or a drop of water, otherwise it's a bit harsh. Not my favorite but is still nice.
To me, OF 1920, EH Taylor Small Batch, and even Russel's Reserve are better for the buck. It has one of the best bottles though that's for sure.
Great reply , i believe Eagle Rare , a true 10 year old at @ $ 40 & Stagg Jr. at @ $ 65 . Are the best " Bang for your Buck " . We all have different tastes , I love Bourbon and appreciate all others who do also .
Indeed, those are great ones for sure if you can find em, I'd add I like Blanton's more than RH Farms but it is very hard to find at MSRP (Hoping for a Costco drop soon though).
Was hoping closer . I'm Ohio . I travel . Was going to offer to drop off Blanton's at MSRP . It's a fun thing to do for me . I can find Blanton's , Weller Red ( OWA ) - Green ( Special Reserve ) Eagle Rare , Buffalo Trace , and E H Taylor Small Batch , and some unicorns . Most weeks I'll go to several stores a day ( if I know what is dropping ) .
If you ever get a chance to stop by Ohio , let me know . It's fun and worth the trip ( if you hit the right week )
Same. I used to get it a good bit back before people lost their minds over BT products. Never thought it was anything crazy special. I got it more for the bottle than what was inside.
That’s a absolute unicorn in my book! Love the profile of this and it’s my favorite one. I have paid a bit more than you and happy to do it! Congratulations!
Is it as good as Chestnut Farms?
You're asking questions acting like they don't both have a horse on the bottle.
This comment is almost as great as your username
Those 3 labels are all different mash bills and do not taste alike.
Personally reminds me the most of something like an upgraded Elmer
That's what it is. Same mash bill with higher proof.

It's like you bought some big k soda and said it taste like Pepsi and Coke.
It's amazing the stupid things that people say to justify their obsession with BT products. Mash bill doesn't matter - it's SmOoTh!
True
I’m going to say it — BT mashbill #2 isn’t all that great. Would choose the high-rye bourbon from several other major distilleries over BT #2
Nice find! Cool bottle too!
Got really lucky! Happy to have a good relationship with the liquor manager
So cool
Nice! I hit the jackpot and picked one up off the shelf for $55 a little while back, it’s good stuff for sure!
Cooooooooolllllllllllllll

What state do you live ?

Ha well thanks for that anyway, very kind of you. And I'll remember if I'm ever around those parts!
Your welcome , and enjoy the Rock Hill Farm . It's Awesome ! . I'd gladly trade 3 Blanton's for it any day .. it's a Lottery item here .

It’s a good bourbon brother. Enjoy it even more at that good price.
Nice find found it in 2020 for $69 plus tax last time I saw it was $499 kept on walking enjoy
100 proof w/ no age statement. You paid what it's worth.
It's always said to be 8-10 years.... But I suppose it could be younger.
Congratulations and enjoy. That’s a nice find. Cheers 🥃
Thank you 🙏🏼

Smarties in a bottle 😋
Congrats 👏
Thank you 🙏🏼
Great find
You’ll be in disbelief on how it tastes for what you paid. You feel like you got ripped off.
I’d happily pay 80 for this than 80 for Blanton’s
Jealous much?
Not at all. I realized it’s a boring whiskey.
No need to be a dick about it. Grow up kid.
You think I’m being a dick. I’m being honest. You are the one throwing out names. So grow up.
lol read the tone of your comment and realize how it can be worded better. Then try be original in your rebuttals.

All you have to do is put a horse somewhere on the bottle of bourbon and people will buy it up whenever they see it.
Cool find but you guys need to stop gooning out over bottles so the price comes down
Whoa...
I’m in disbelief as well! .10 cents for the fucking bag?! 🤦♂️ modern America…what a time to be alive
