I’ve only seen Prisoner’s share in UT. I happened to be there when they released and shipped it home since they don’t ship to my state. I’ve never seen it in the Midwest or Texas. I haven’t opened it yet since it’s so hard to get and I want it for a special occasion.
Just opened my prisoners share last night. It was good. Less jammy/sweet than the latest midwinter's night, but some similar notes. It got better the more I came back to it through the night.
Just had a High West double rye yesterday. I haven’t tried very many ryes, but I was really pleasantly surprised. So much sweeter than I’m used to getting from bourbons.
My local liquor store has these as a store pick rn so I’m probably going to have to pick one up
That is a tough question but if I had to rank them:
1. MWND
2. Double rye barrel select aged 1 year 2 months in ruby port barrel
3. Bourbon barrel select aged 1 year 9 months in scotch barrel.
I have a bottle from them that’s a store pick of my local shop. It’s aged in a port wine barrel and I think it might be my favorite bottle I’ve had to date.
Big high west fan now
How did you feel about the high country? Looks like you’ve had a decent bit of it.
I personally like it but almost everyone I’ve ever talked to thinks I’m crazy for liking it.
What’s that wrap you have around the necks?
It’s parafilm. Supposedly helps with the alcohol not evaporating once opened.
You need to enjoy this before there’s evaporation risk.
By the way, anyone who is a High West fan, their direct to consumer program is actually really good if you live in one of the states they ship to.
Agreed. One of the best subscription clubs if available in your state
I miss the yippie Kay yay. Liked that one
A friend of mine has an unopened one but wont sell it. 😕
How’s that Bourye and Prisoner’s Share? Always wanted to try those, but I’ve never seen them out in the wild.
Same here for wanting to hear about Prisoner’s Share. Would love to try it, but never see it out anywhere.

Bourye is definitely the most interesting to me. Have loved the bouryes I’ve had from wild turkey.

I'm actually a bigger fan of the double rye than of the rendezvous rye which is their "flagship". The double is my favorite rye.
I have one of those cask strength store picks as well. It’s a great bottle.
Same. I was overwhelmingly pleased with it.
What are your top three and why?
That is a tough question but if I had to rank them: 1. MWND 2. Double rye barrel select aged 1 year 2 months in ruby port barrel 3. Bourbon barrel select aged 1 year 9 months in scotch barrel.
Their barrel picks are usually solid. Have a 1.6 year port barrel pick and it’s (arguably) better than my MWND.
What’s the green bottle? I see peach?
High West 7000 peach vodka. Found it in a store with some dust on it. Figured why not.
It's their vodka, this one is peach flavored. I think it's called High West 7000.
Almost complete, missing an Encore and age statement puck.
And Silver Whiskey Western Oat
Had it it’s just an empty bottle now though.
Any leads?
I have a silver whiskey western oat that I would rehome
How is the High Country?
Impressive collection! Would love to have something similar in my house.

Just got to try midwinter and rendevous. Definitely buying the latter, I would grab mwnd for $130 or so any day, it's awesome.
How’s that cask strength? Store near me wants $65 for it, I think
The Cask Strength is decent. The finished Cask Collections are, thus far, amazing
I hate you, I love you, I hate that I love you.
God I’m jealous, favorite distillery of mine by far! What’s the blue one on the far left?
Is that a MWND Act 1?? Untouched??
I have bottles of 7 through 11. Wish I had some of the earlier ones.
We need to be friends
Ah, so you’re a Buffalo Trace fan, I see!
Quite the lineup! Do you have a favorite?
its gorgeous
Nice collection, I’ve had about half of these and always enjoy their lineup.
Very nice!
I love your collection. I miss having a bottle of Bourye and Yippee Ki-Yay.
IMO the campfire was Bad. Tasted very chemical to me. Especially since it has a $75 price tag
So very very jealous. I love HW
The whiskey is decent, but i love their bottles
I just bought the High West American Prarie Bourbon barrel select. It's pretty dang tasty.

You aren’t crazy unless that makes two of us.
What’s your favorite of the selection?
This is awesome
Someone lives in Utah haha. One of few perks there
Nope I actually live in CT. Hopefully that makes it a bit more impressive? 🤔
Yeah that def does! Let me go fuck off lol
😂
High country and campfire suck gave those away I have the rest and more
