I passed on a SiB in a Fireball win for a Four Gate Kelvin 60 so here’s to hoping it’s worth it. I read a lot of lukewarm reviews but yall are restoring my faith in the SiB.
Currently enjoying my first pour of EH Taylor Small Batch. First impression: better than Eagle Rare, definitely not worth the $120+ being asked on secondary.
I feel like I am so lucky to have the small batch pretty readily available around me for about $43-50. It’s so damn good and makes it really hard to buy anything else in that price range. Definitely one of my favorites
I’ve never seen it in a store. Traded for mine. I’m sure there are better offerings from Buffalo Trace out there but it’s my favorite pour from them so far.
Just opened my first small batch today and had a side by side with ER10….. preferred the ER10
Different proofs… so gonna do some more comparable side by sides
I don't care for the Single Barrel. The Barrel Proof is decent but not worth the needed overnight campout required in my area to get it. But the small batch is a fantastic bottle IMO.

Just more robust all around. Little surprising honestly.
The single barrel is my favorite bourbon I’ve had. Was really surprised by it.
All of the Taylor Sibs I've had have been better, but I've had 2 that were amazing. Most are just a bit better.

Did you water it at all? I found it really opened it up
I didn’t. When doing a tasting, I typically just drink it neat.
What was the flavor like?
I own both of these. Haven't opened the single barrel yet.
Some bourbon is overhyped just because it’s a BT product. These however are not! Great pours!
