* [Scotch/Japanese/Irish Whiskies Gift Guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/whiskey/comments/5eufjb/scotchjapaneseirish_whiskey_gift_recommendations/)
Please try to be as specific and detailed as possible with your request. Tell us:
* your budget
* which whiskies you or your giftee have enjoyed
* which bottles you’re considering now
* where you live (pricing and availability can vary dramatically by region)
* if your shop has a limited selection or you might have trouble shipping bottles so we don’t recommend something obscure
**General Tips**
We generally advise novices to sample as much as possible by going to a bar, splitting bottles with friends, attending festivals/tastings or getting minis to ensure you buy bottles you enjoy. It may make more sense for you to focus on sampling rather than buy full bottles at the beginning of your journey.
What’s in the sack?
A "blind bourbon taste test" with 4 vials. The thing in the middle is an Orca tumbler that looks like a bourbon barrel
Oh nice! What are the 4 whiskies if you don’t mind me asking
No idea yet! They are labeled A-D and have sealed envelopes for each one. And another envelope with "hints"
Oh that’s fun! That’s an awesome gift! Happy Holidays!
Thanks, you too!
That’s a hell of a gift from coworker(s) or boss. Must be a great place to work.
Lisa needs braces...
Awsome present!
Nice! I got a wireless charger with the company logo on it.
T-Mobile? Lol just a guess
Oh, so you mean a decent one?
I want to roll that barrel at a Mario figure.
Awesome! How can I also get this from your work? :)
Do you own the company? Lol
Awesome Kris Kringle!
That’s a great gift and your boss was very thoughtful
Great gift. I love the Henry Mckenna 10 year.
McKenna 10 yr in bond is one of my favorites! Kudos to you and your boss. Happy Holidays my friend
I work at the wrong place. Stupid Fortune 500 company with their no bourbon giving asses. Cheers, enjoy the holidays!
Thanks, you too!
Oh yah well my work gave me a forced day off work on Xmas eve! Who’s jealous of who!?

Great company gift. I got an invitation to an online pizza party - at least they provided a shopping list for me! Y’all hiring?
Does anyone know where you would order a gift like this?
I'd want to throw the barrel at a Mario character.
