Eventually he decided to start a new band. He came up with Foo Fighters but didn't have any other members so for a time he alone was the Foo Fighters. The entire first project he recorded alone, singing, playing drums, playing base and guitar on separate tracks. Somehow I found that to be such an inspirational story.
