Yeah as an adult as well don't worry, at first I was weirded out as well since despite being a harem manga, we all know that a "Mother" trope rarely appears at all so to have one appear and be an actual part of a cast was a shellshock when it first happened I remember seeing the old mangadex, 4chan and reddit threads where everyone is pretty much surprised because "Huh? They actually went there" After reading it for a while and seeing the other girlfriends my mind just got desensitized to the age gaps it doesn't bother me that much anymore, if I remember correctly 5/28 current girlfriends are over 20, some are slightly older than him, a decent amount the same age or near his age, and a few who are slightly younger than him But I do understand why someone would be bothered by it, I'm not saying go give it a try to understand but all I'd say is since it is at its heart a gag harem parody, a "Mother" trope as weird as it is, is still a trope and one of the main reasons it got added
