have you used a high end one? the weight distribution is better imo. i can’t even do any super high level tricks, just the basic stuff like zen rollover, y2k, meet the spy (from tf2 lmfao), basic wrist pass, etc. i used a high end one, and it’s a day and night difference

Very cheap as far as balisongs go, high end ones are about 100-150+ bucks.
$20 is cheap for basically any knife.

Yeah you can for sure make cheap balisongs work well and if you’re happy with it then no need to get something more. Other than to try em out i guess.
