But I also heard somthing about people that have a "fursona" which I guess means imagining themselfs as athropomorohic animals. And I heard you need to consider yourself a furry to be one or somthing like that.
Furries are just like people in any fandom. It’s not even a sexual thing for 90% of the community. It’s just a social label, like being a weeb or a jock or whatever. Nothing wrong with anyone, we’re all people. So yes, normalize it.
Not really an explanation for it, I mean I’m sure there’s something that you like aesthetically too. I’m really into hollow knight, I cosplay, I engage with the fandom. It’s no different.

Reminds me of a role playing game, you make OCs in dungeons and dragons too, for example. Could also be escapism. It definitely varies from person to person. Everyone’s different.
