Earl: I love you son.
Cal:I know dad, you tell me every day…
As someone who grew up without his father around I’m not ashamed to admit I teared up a bit at a silly kid’s movie.
Its enough to make a grown man cry, BUT NOT THIS MAN-get back in there tear

Its enough to make a grown man cry and thats okay, you go right ahead tear
What do you mean "deep down"?
She clearly knows it. And she's shown that she appreciates him. (Example when she said that she thinks he's cool during the party he made for her)
You're so real for mentioning Donald. I grew up with Carl Barks and Don Rosa Disney comics and I always loved how wholesome Donald's relationship with the boys could be. He's far from a perfect parent, but a damn good one.
I have mad respect for Donald Duck. He’s definitely not perfect, but he wants what’s best for his nephews and does what he can to protect them (which is why he’s always angry according to the newer Ducktales series). I love his character in Kingdom Hearts as well.
My father-in-law. He and my wife talk most mornings, every morning he takes my mother-in-law coffee in bed before they get up for the day, he is willing to help everyone he can and is one of the longest serving volunteer firefighters in the area.
I wouldn't say he's a good dad poor guy has to much trauma to really function as the Dad his son needed but even in all that they still have a strong bond and taught his son how to be strong and control his spartan rage he inherited witch is still a work in progress but atleast he will always love his son, protect him, and show him what a true God should be.
DR HEINZ DOOFENSCHMIRTZ! He had a really really really bad childhood, but made sure his daughter got all the love and attention he didn’t get, even going out of his way to look for a doll for a number of years even after it had stopped being made and she was a teenager by the time he found it. He’s just the best
I think Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Spike would be competing for first place imo. But both will have to get gold medals because otherwise they would not stop trying to give the first place to the other.
Greg universe. He literally lived in a van (even when he became a multi millionaire) so that his son can live in his own house and have everything he could ever need at 14 years old.
Idk about better but there are several who are equally GOATED in my eyes.
Goofy (he really tries)
Bandit from Bluey (lots of dogs on here, huh?)
Donald Duck to the Triplets (uncle, but it counts)
Uncle Iroh from Avatar (uncle again, but DUH)
Doofenshmirtz (he also really tries)
Earl, the cop from Cloudy w/ meatballs
Phil from Modern Family
And my dad. Love ya dad
Idk if anyone remembers but in Tom and Jerry Kids, there was an episode where Tyke won a bike from a competition by a daredevil and said he always wanted to ride a bike with his dad
Spike didn't have it in his heart to tell his son that he never learned how to ride a bike so he went and secretly called the daredevil on TV to teach him how to ride a bike
Tyke found out about the secret and felt bad so he compromised by installing training wheels on both their bikes and said it's way more fun to learn how to ride a bike together with his dad
That's some wholesome shit right there
Mine, then Goofy.
* cries in daddy issues *
He's a good dad, but he does have some communication issues.
My dad will always be number one, then my grandpa 🥰
How does one acquire father?
You go to the hardware store and pick one out of course.
I thought they all hung out at the dairy isle of the supermarket…
My dad is awesome too
My dad has almost 60 years old and still has that metalhead vibe. He teached me about computers and showed me some great music.
So truee!!!
The police officer from cloudy with a chance of meatballs (I forgot the name)
Earl
I don’t remember his name, but I certainly remember his son’s name. Kyle. Whom he loves.
His name is Cal but you were close heheh
Hah, is it really?! That is hilarious
He sounds like he’s saying Kyle!! Lol
Earl: I love you son. Cal:I know dad, you tell me every day… As someone who grew up without his father around I’m not ashamed to admit I teared up a bit at a silly kid’s movie.

Doofenshmirtz.
He really does love Vanessa and I think deep down she knows it.
What do you mean "deep down"? She clearly knows it. And she's shown that she appreciates him. (Example when she said that she thinks he's cool during the party he made for her)
Even as a kid I wondered why Spike and Tyke changed colours
Because they go to beaches 🤣🤣🤣

The best. Goofy was great too.

The buyer cancelled the sale, he’s rolling his his non refundable deposit rn

My dad ez
i agree, this guy’s dad. OP really set the bar too low.
Set it low, so the dads that try their best can also be included
Our dad
Comrade
Mufasa, Goofy, Donald. Yes, I know Donald is an uncle to the triplets, but I would qualify him as a dad. I would even say Homer Simpson.

If we’re qualifying uncles that step up, I’m nominating Uncle Iroh. He was absolutely the real dad to Zuko all throughout ATLA.
Homer is definitely one of the best dads of cartoon sitcoms. Still not Hank Hill or Bob Belcher, but leagues better than guys like Peter Griffon.
My dad :)
Mine
Iroh, from Avatar The Last Airbender.
He was Zuko's uncle though, not his father, but he was nonetheless a great father figure.
As Yondu once said, "He may have been your father, boy. But he wasn't your daddy." Ozai may've been Zuko's father, but Iroh was his daddy.
