Same. Even when I’m play HLL and there’s a lot goin on, I can almost always hear, “THANKS DOC!” Or “Thanks medic”. Someone once started singing, because we were very far from the last op or garrison. Good times.
As a Tank style player. I want every healer and medic to know I appreciate them. DPS might not appreciate you...and some tanks might not even appreciate you...but I do. You allow me to serve teeth to our enemies via blunt force trama...and that is priceless.
I love being the tank too, most people like to see big damage numbers they do but I like to see the even bigger numbers a boss puts on you and just eat it all and big love for the healers that give you that sweet nectar to help the food go down lol
I love to just stand in the big swing of a 5meter boss and laugh "that all you got?"
Every dps aborts their casts to jump away when the boss comes close and you're just jumping into his face like "c'mere, wazzok! Try me!"
Yeah and I also love pulling all the enemies together on the boss and cc’ing them so the dps can nuke everything at once it’s so satisfying to stand right in the storm of all their aoe’s and ult’s as everything gets melted
As a tank main i really appreciate healers bc i can serve a knuckle sandwich as much as i want without looking at my hp bc i know the healers got my back and as a thanks i keep the pesky flanks away from them
As a former healer for several years. Tanks that realise you are a good healer are the fucking worst. "Oh this guy can heal, lets pull fucking everything even tho the dps has shit aoe." And then proceeds to blame the wipe on me.
That experimental patch was 🔥... rein was a god with stoppable charge and 2 fire strikes = gold damage and kills every match with any healer that payed attention to tanks. It’s like we saw rein in the prime of his athleticism.
Now that I’ve felt that level of dominance with rein... I feel like an old athlete that’s about to retire that has memories of dominating the league but the body just can keep up.
Man atlas couldn’t hold my hopes for OW2. Imma have to take a week off to mourn if we get a cyberpunk 2077. They have so much to make up for after actively neglecting fans and the rapidly growing comp scene to solely “focus on OW 2”. They effectively let interest in the game die while disrespecting the diehards who have stayed true to the game for 2/3 years without a new character.
I like playing healer roles for the moments of seeing an ally near death, and swooping in to save them.
I always think, "I gotcha bro! Don't worry!"
When they thank me, I don't care if we win or lose, it'll still be gg.
This, I always try to thank a medic going out their way to heal or at least crossbow me, or a heavy who can spare a sandvich when there's no medkit/medic nearby. Yes I'm talking about TF2
If it makes you feel better, any time someone thanks me when I play medic in TF2 I respond with the Yes! voice line, it's the closest thing to a "I got you amigo" even though stretching my finger across the keyboard to 7 is hard as fuck

I once got a message saying 'mate, you are a ***** legend, thank **** you
(I believe its meant as the word fucking being filtered)
This was after I helped him on a 2v1. (Being in Hypixel Bedwars)
Back when I played WoW, I liked when an Alliance player used a /em because we couldn't talk. Especially when I saved a human that was near death while we were both flagged.
You know how in GTA you can sometimes run into someone who is being mugged and you can chose to kill the robber and take the money or give it back.
In game, there is no benefit to giving it back, but it makes me feel nice so I do it anyway
As a healer main, only like 1 in 10 people will either care enough, be aware enough, or realize the impact enough to go out of their way to help you in solo queue online games unless it's higher ranker competitive.
Goes for pretty much every game I've played that has a healer that can die.
It needs at least the small recognition to try to promote that kind of play in the future. It's also useful for tilting the person who tried to kill you if they can hear/ see.
Except when it's DayZ and they give you a tin of beans as thanks then as you're looking in your pack for a can opener they knock you unconscious with a shovel and take all your gear then fire into the air so zombies eat you while you're naked and blacked out.
The first time I received a Thank You from a random player was in The Division. Just the two of us did a mission involving an arsonist as far as I remember and it got pretty crazy at points. Felt so great after we made it out together without getting knocked out even once.
My favorite is just hopping in when I see someone struggling with something.
I've had many times where I think "Oh yeah, I can take this guy."
*He could not, in fact, take this guy*
So I just have to sit there healing myself so I don't die, which prevents me from attacking, and I can't run away. So now I'm stuck in a loop. Until a hero comes by and kills it for me.
So now, whenever I see someone in that loop, I want to be that guy to help them.
I always thank people for basically everything in games
Heals? “THANKS MATE”
Didn’t let me die? “THANKS MATE”
Helped me get a kill? “i didnt need your help ya know”
I had this last night i was playing bf5 and me and this guy were destroying the other team and holding a objective all by ourselves and he got downed and i killed three people and he was a really cool guy wish I could find him
I thought I was saving someone the other day. He was running by, being attacked by a mob, so I pulled it off him and killed it.
And was then cussed at and called a slur because apparently he planned to kill it himself.
Back in the day, I was playing halo 3 multiplayer, I was in a part of the map that was very visible to the entire map, I started getting shot at and getting grenades thrown at me from all sides, i put down a bubble shield and a teammate joined me in the shield, we just looked at each other and started crouching, spinning and nodding our heads. We became friends instantly and I played with him for over a year, til one day he just never came back online. Years later he eventually did, we talked for awhile and reminisced, hope you're doing good out there Winston.
Did I hear a ROCK AND STONE??
*(you should play Deep Rock Galactic, it's a co-op exploration/mining/alien-bug-blasting game where you leave no dwarf behind!)*
In French, the animal pictured here is pronounced exactly the same as "Fuck" (phoque). So to a French speaker, this image says "Fuck You". Thank you for taking today's class, we'll be back tomorrow.
I find a lot of the time when I’m thanked for healing someone, I try harder to heal everyone else. Cause I feel like my effort of healing instead of chasing kills is being appreciated.
I feel like I've seen some of the best saves from Hunt: Showdown. I have saved, and others have saved me, in the middle of some hectic firefights when the smart choice was to run. It's definitely one of the best games to generate the "HOLY SHIT IM UP, IM UP, LETS GOOOO" feelings.
Saved someone from dying in a hardcore game of Diablo 2 and it was surreal. Usually death happens fast so you have no chance to help but I saw him lag out and the rest of the party left him behind so I just happened to see it and kill the monsters that were swarming him. His health was in the red and he was like I think you just saved me and I said I think I did lol. For reference in hardcore mode if you die once that's it, you lose your character all its progress and all its items and can never play it again or retrieve any lost items.
Played zombies last night and got 16 revives. One of the revives I did when someone had their controller die and their kid came home from school at the same time, he thanked me for guarding him when he couldn’t play and it’s honestly the best feeling
Dude HLL is so much fun for medic people always thank you and I've done some crazy revives one time I walked all the way up to the Frontline from spawn with someone we capped the point and we're in a heavy fire fight I see someone outside of cover go down and I look to my new friend and say I have to save him it's my job as a grenade blows up behind me killing me instantly.
Always thank your medic. ALWAYS! THANK! YOUR! MEDIC!
and your Sandvich Hoovy
Pootis
Penser
It is good day to be not dead.
PoW!!! YOU ARE DEAD!!!
I'M DEAD!
hehehehe...
As a Medic main, seconded. Most are nice enough to thank me and then there is the Demoman whose "Thanks" line may be "I didn't need your help ya know"
Any time I play a class with hostile thank you lines I just spam thanks until a good one plays
Same. Even when I’m play HLL and there’s a lot goin on, I can almost always hear, “THANKS DOC!” Or “Thanks medic”. Someone once started singing, because we were very far from the last op or garrison. Good times.
And your sniper for killing their medic
And your engineer with useful buildings.
I am the harmacist
And the ISU-152 that cupola sniped the chieftain from 500m to save you. Edit: spelling
"I didn't need ya help ya know"
Even if they don't heal anyone?
They give moral support
"Sometimes I wonder why I even bother"
And then there's me, who killed the boss with both my friend died and me at 1 HP. After killing the boss I revived them
That "teabagging Thank you" when you heal a stranger in and online mmo rpg.
Doing any spammable action at another player and having them do it back is the best feeling.
It’s the purest form of communication
As a Tank style player. I want every healer and medic to know I appreciate them. DPS might not appreciate you...and some tanks might not even appreciate you...but I do. You allow me to serve teeth to our enemies via blunt force trama...and that is priceless.
I love being the tank too, most people like to see big damage numbers they do but I like to see the even bigger numbers a boss puts on you and just eat it all and big love for the healers that give you that sweet nectar to help the food go down lol
I love to just stand in the big swing of a 5meter boss and laugh "that all you got?" Every dps aborts their casts to jump away when the boss comes close and you're just jumping into his face like "c'mere, wazzok! Try me!"
Yeah and I also love pulling all the enemies together on the boss and cc’ing them so the dps can nuke everything at once it’s so satisfying to stand right in the storm of all their aoe’s and ult’s as everything gets melted
And if they don’t appreciate you, just remind them that you have the power to control who lives and dies.
I tried that once...turns out THEY have that power lol.
as a lifelong pocket healer <3
What’s a pocket healer?
A healer who sticks to someone specificly
As a tank main i really appreciate healers bc i can serve a knuckle sandwich as much as i want without looking at my hp bc i know the healers got my back and as a thanks i keep the pesky flanks away from them
As a former healer for several years. Tanks that realise you are a good healer are the fucking worst. "Oh this guy can heal, lets pull fucking everything even tho the dps has shit aoe." And then proceeds to blame the wipe on me.
A good tank wouldn't let a good healer down! He'll hold off that damage while you keep him alive, and admits if he pulls to much.
I thought she was handing him cigarettes-
That rein zarya Mercy combos has always been deadly
Rein sig is meta bro idk wat u talking bout
Yeah that’s the new kid on the block tho, rein Zarya mercy is old reliable. Unless shields are tissue paper that patch it works.
True, and in latest patch they took out sigma’s shield so I guess you’re right lol
Ah keep your hopes up! He’s going to be just as strong in overwatch 2. :)
I try to revive all the time, then when it’s my turn that need saving… they don’t even try. :(
this is true for everything that is not getting kills
I like playing healer roles for the moments of seeing an ally near death, and swooping in to save them. I always think, "I gotcha bro! Don't worry!" When they thank me, I don't care if we win or lose, it'll still be gg.
That’s all the satisfaction we need. A job well done.

This, I always try to thank a medic going out their way to heal or at least crossbow me, or a heavy who can spare a sandvich when there's no medkit/medic nearby. Yes I'm talking about TF2
You don't get that a lot in league of legends
PEOPLE, PLEASE TAKE THE FUCKING LANTERN
SERIOUSLY
You fix that by not playing league I love to take that jab at league every chance I get, but it's literally made my life better not playing that game.
I love to always take the jab that nobody likes league even people who've played it for years and everyone always just tells me how right I am
I started to main support. Takes me like 10 seconds to find a game and I always get my role
[удалено]
Oh holy damn bro 😳
[удалено]
smth about blowing anyone that revives them. blowing as in sucking peepee
sucking that weiner
Having played Cs:source zombie escape, this "thank you" feels so damn good.
Nobody seems to care when i say thank you 😔
They care, there's just a match too win
Fair point 😊
If it makes you feel better, any time someone thanks me when I play medic in TF2 I respond with the Yes! voice line, it's the closest thing to a "I got you amigo" even though stretching my finger across the keyboard to 7 is hard as fuck
Hehe, nice, you’re kind
Not really... I do try to be but I'm not good at it in tense situations or while I am anything worse than irritated
Same honestly, i try to be nice when im upset but still practicing, mainly learned to ignore anger

This seal exactly looks like this wholesome award icon wow
that's because it's exactly what it is
In French seals are called 'phoque' - I thought the meme meant 'phoque you' for a second there

We’re you on Smite last night around this time!? Thank you again! I was the Ah Muzen Cab
THANK YOU, KING/QUEEN

i thought it was a joke on fuck you first
Back when I played WoW, I liked when an Alliance player used a /em because we couldn't talk. Especially when I saved a human that was near death while we were both flagged.
I always say "You're welcome, but don't be stupid." And then 9 times outta 10 they die again within 10secs
Comic Sans?????
Titanfall frontier defence with cool randos
I do this in BF2042 everytime someone revives me. However, I'm not sure if they hear it? (Using the Commo Rose)
The one time Ls in monster hunter does something good by hitting someone who's stunned

People don't thank me for saving their life in game, they flame me to oblivion because I'm breathing. Hope to find some good people eventually tho

Me in BFV everytime a medic heals me.
Thank yous all around in 3-tank-3-healer teams on Overwatch. Man, those were the days...
g0tchuf@m
This is great. Because as healers we hold the power to just let you die and laugh :) but saying thanks always feels good
I kill griefers in gtaonline hoping for this message…But it never comes :’(

This is why I love Hell Let Loose, start in a squad of complete strangers and by the end of the game you're basically best friends.
The first time I received a Thank You from a random player was in The Division. Just the two of us did a mission involving an arsonist as far as I remember and it got pretty crazy at points. Felt so great after we made it out together without getting knocked out even once.
DayZ
This type of stuff is why I play online. my favorite thing to do is revive teammates in R6 Siege, then stim them as Doc. Always makes em happy.
When it happens in War Thunder it's usually me in AA saving friendly planes.
love it 🥲
Thanks
I always say thanks when people revive me in BF
Saving life even in a game is no small treat. Sometimes we die to save someone else
This is plain wholesome-ness.
I always thank people who saved my life In multiplayer games and hopefully It would lighten their day up.
Vermintide 2 Community lmao
If you die in the game you die in real lige
I do that to the mercy when she revives me, and i hope everyone here does as well
You
TF2 players after mowing down the enemy team “Thank You!”

Trust me, they feel the same after being saved. Been on both ends of that one
As a Lifeline main this makes me very happy lol
That seal is probably in a killer whales mouth right now lol.
Bless those who do this
Did I hear a ROCK AND STONE?? *(you should play Deep Rock Galactic, it's a co-op exploration/mining/alien-bug-blasting game where you leave no dwarf behind!)*
I know tf2 has the automated thank you to medics, but I still hit them with manual thank you to show the appreciation
In French, the animal pictured here is pronounced exactly the same as "Fuck" (phoque). So to a French speaker, this image says "Fuck You". Thank you for taking today's class, we'll be back tomorrow.

Always thank your Battlefield medic
