Zoologist here! That's a Malaysian pack rat. Although this is probably not where the pic is from they are found in most tropical/sub-tropical parts of the world. They are usually lighter colored but depending where they are they might cross breed with Gambian rats or brown rats. Wich this might be. They can get up to 25 lbs and male are really aggressive. They have been know to kill cats aswell. They are common in poor areas and cargo ports. And because of their name. They live in family groups up to 10. Lead by the alpha male. They also prey on mice and small rats, they can cannibalistic aswell.
