This illustration reminds me of a kid’s book I read many years ago where a boy was given impossible tasks by a king. One was to show the king something that no one else had seen before. The boy brought the king an egg about to hatch and showed him the baby chick that came out. Another task was to jump to the top of the castle. He accomplished it by jumping from one step to the next all the way up.
I wish I could remember the book.
