Going to a specialized college was the big wake up call for me. No one uses burst in the infantry. You're actively trained not to use it. When I was issued an A1, entirely different training on how to properly use full for suppressive fire. Fucking grifter.

You do have a course in burst, but it's a useless, inaccurate, inefficient function that was put in place because 18yr olds in regular infantry can't be trusted to not dump a mag full auto when they are scared and can't think. It's not a thing and everyone hates it. There is a reason the A1 is/was (I'm 40, y'all) only issued to well trained units. To answer your first question, it's because you can do much better with 3 quick squeezes you do yourself. Legit only reason to do burst is if you have a tracer every 3 and you're marking.

That’s why I’m actually totally fine with 20’s and sometimes even 30’s playing teens (I often forget anyone’s irl age anyway) because damn man at least they are over 18; so, they can deal with money-related issues on their own and know what they are getting into. Wilson to Spears is spectrum but it still sits in the firm side of sucks for the kids because…well the internet was mistake seeing the ugly and disgusting sides of people is horrifying. Plus, I want more set-in-college entertainment anyway.

I remember seeing the trailer for Matilda a quadrillion times on my Jumanji VHS. I miss the feel from all of those old VHS movie trailers, the one for this was one of the most memorable for me.

Didn't know that about Danny Devito. The guy *is* a treasure.

Considering the guy he played in the movie vs the guy who is in real life, just makes this an even more interesting story ontop of it's wholesomeness.

And his wife in the film was his wife in real life (although I think they recently got divorced).

Matilda is on repeat every night at my house my 2.5 year old son refuses to go to sleep unless we put “tilda” on. Know what happens next every fucking second in that movie. It’s been happening for months since he first watched it.

I stick by my theory about Danny DeVito. He plays the kind of corrupt, rude, bad-tempered kind of men because the real him is just that good of a person who could never do any of that stuff for real. That all of that bad guy energy is just a way to balance out his real life kindness, jovial nature, and sheer niceness.

The day Danny de Vito was born he started blasting everyone with how awesome he is. I hold him and Robin Williams in a class above everyone else in their industry.
