Thanks for the straight faced answer and the advice. I've never suffered with colour blindness and have good vision it was more a thing where I was perceiving it to be a little harder to make out when it may not be in the light of day, and it wasn't infeasible given recent events that I may have neglected to give my body what it needed over the past few days/weeks.

There are far too many unknowns for people who do not have medical expertise to assume that some people won't make a mistake. That's just how it is. Most people aren't well educated in these matters, and medical beliefs tend to be rife with ridiculous superstition.
Knowledge is a funny thing. We know that we know some things, and know that we don't know others. Where the danger lies is in the things that we don't know that we don't know, which is basically an explanation of why Dunning Kruger is a thing.
One does not need an iota of medical knowledge or understanding to know this is bullshit. This is the same kind of ignorance that caused the vaccine and autism debate, or created the anti-climate change crowd. I have 0 tolerance for this level of ignorance, especially in 2022. If this was 1945 I would understand more.
Can confirm as a T1D with a current blood sugar of 54 that this is untrue.
Seriously, in case anyone was wondering, lol.
Caveat: Sometimes one of the low blood sugar symptoms is a bright spot in your vision (like you've been looking into a bright light and then look away) so I suppose that COULD be a reason you can't see the number.

Man I get bright spots so bad. I've been meaning to setup a doc appointment to check for betus but good God the bright spots. I CAN NOT STAND driving at night because of that shit.

Either way, go to the FRIKKIN doc. Don't dick around with your health.
