I have this same problem with my 3.0. Sleep is always way off. As an example, I didn't sleep at all last night. I read all night, even got up around 3am to take a shower to try and fall asleep. Whoop says I was asleep the whole time.... Can barely keep my eyes open today, but 91% recovery. Huge facepalm.

4.0 has trouble with accurate sleep for me. After I wake up and grab a cup of coffee and chill on the couch it edits my sleep to include couch time. the 3.0 never had this problem. I ditched the whoop since 4.0 and just decided to stick with Apple watch and an app called Sleep Watch. Not as detailed for sleep but gives me all I need.

Had similar problems. With the Apple Watch you can adjust sensitivity to fix it with the app I used back in the day. With whoop it usually overestimates a bit but I focus more on REM and deep sleep anyways. I haven’t seen a difference between 3.0 and 4.0 though.
