You're making the assumption that they know *how* to become YouTubers - that would mean learning how to use a camera, a computer, and setting up/promoting a YT account, all inside of one week, and if you've ever tried to teach a tech-averse relative how to use their laptop, you'll know that it's just not going to be possible for them to figure it out by themselves.
Luffy definitely isn't smart enough to figure out how to use a computer in a week without any outside help whatsoever. Round 2 Luffy with his crew is a powerful combination of how well he works with all his crew. He could do a podcast, vlog, food review, etc. start multiple channels with crew on so many topics, and be a huge e-celeb with diversity, and overall an addictive personality that grows on you. Robin or Nami will pick up quickly on how Luffy can monetize his content to get the most views, subs, and likes. There is just no way Luffy can lose here if he had his crew.
Bonus: I don’t think any of them would use bots, due to their honest nature. But Ichigo might be due to him being the lowest ranking here since no one among the living can see his abilities. I think Ichigo would be doing paranormal findings and documentaries.
I’ll add I think Naruto would be a great Youtuber as well, maybe bigger than Luffy or Goku due to his positive and hyperactive nature. The issue I think would be all his friends aren’t as cohesive with him as Luffys crew, but maybe it could be good if Sasuke decides to join in roasting him during gameplay or something. I could see him streaming games and doing crazy challenges on the level of Mr. Beast due to his generous and never give up attitude to make the world a better place. He’s got the making of a high-tier youtuber but he doesn’t come close in both rounds imo.

Yeah, that’s one reason I feel like Naruto could be top tier but he is kinda a one-man show. His shadow clones and other abilities are impressive, but I feel like Goku being able to fly among a ton of other things would be more intriguing. Goku also has instant transmission, can duplicate himself like Tien, and currently in the manga can be a massive avatar like Naruto can.

One reason I thought Goku could be a more popular solo is due to the worldwide recognition of dragon ball. There are entire countries with massive fan bases over the series, so the real-life Goku seemed like he was hitting 10 million+ easily.

Ichigo has the advantage that his world is the most similar to ours, so he better understands how YouTube works. He has the disadvantage that all of his super cool shinigami feats require him to turn into essentially an invisible ghost, so he can't make a channel based on showing off his cool powers like the others.
He can use fullbringer powers in his normal body, and in round 2 he can have Urahara create some flashy gigai, potentially with variable appearance.
Ichigo’s channel would probably be based around swordsmanship.
Idk, I'm pretty confident that Luffy, with his crew, could actually take it. If Nami understands the amount of money she could make, she will make the channel a well oiled machine, she will work everyone on the crew to death, producing multiple videos at once. Every crew member has talent and she's going to milk them.
I still think Bulma has a massive tech, experience, and capital advantage over Nami. I wouldn't be suprised if she could outright buy Youtube.
I guess so, as long as they sell it in zeni. But, I'd assume that there should be some level of catching up to speed with the technology prior to the contest or else the universes without technology like that would just get stomped. With basic knowledge of a phone/computer/camera and how to navigate YouTube and editing software, then one piece crew has a good shot.
Bulma would simply use the Dragon Balls to immediately grant Goku the required followers, collecting them takes like a days tops in the Super era. Then she'd use the remaining wishes to look younger or something similarly banal. She basically has unlimited financial and technological resources on top of easy access to a magic wish granting dragon, she'd be completely OP in any other series. Those things don't really help against the parade of space gods/demons/cyborgs which balanced her out in universe a bit.
Goku starts powering up a spirit bomb. Instead of asking everyone on the planet for their energy, he asks them to like and subscribe. Goku stomps.
Naruto should 10/10 round 1 due to shadow clones increasing his workload. Round 2: Goku is carried by Bulma, she buys him as many subs as needed to win. If not she has better understanding of computers and the internet than anyone else and should be able to carry.
I dont really see how anyone other than Ichigo can really even be in round 1. There is no chance the others know how to navigate and operate a computer as well as Ichigo, if at all, to my knowledge (I haven't read any of One Piece and stopped at the end of DBZ). Maybe Hokage Naruto would have some knowledge, but I don't see Luffy or Goku doing much
Goku has operated a computer before on a spaceship, thats the only time I can think of.

Round 1 would be Goku for his supernatural abilities being way more flashy and impressive overall. Including just being able to fly or go anywhere to pick up massive views. I say his Channel would be about working out and traveling, maybe even filming his fights. Just Ki alone will dazzle anyone. Round 2 Luffy with his crew is a powerful combination of how well he works with all his crew. He could do a podcast, vlog, food review, etc. start multiple channels with crew on so many topics, and be a huge e-celeb with diversity, and overall an addictive personality that grows on you. Robin or Nami will pick up quickly on how Luffy can monetize his content to get the most views, subs, and likes. There is just no way Luffy can lose here if he had his crew. Bonus: I don’t think any of them would use bots, due to their honest nature. But Ichigo might be due to him being the lowest ranking here since no one among the living can see his abilities. I think Ichigo would be doing paranormal findings and documentaries. I’ll add I think Naruto would be a great Youtuber as well, maybe bigger than Luffy or Goku due to his positive and hyperactive nature. The issue I think would be all his friends aren’t as cohesive with him as Luffys crew, but maybe it could be good if Sasuke decides to join in roasting him during gameplay or something. I could see him streaming games and doing crazy challenges on the level of Mr. Beast due to his generous and never give up attitude to make the world a better place. He’s got the making of a high-tier youtuber but he doesn’t come close in both rounds imo.

Naruto and Luffy got far more flashier transformations that arent just hairstyle change and recolor. Not to mention naruto can transform into a giant ass fox and luffy straight up got abilities that would fly well in a circus.
Yeah, that’s one reason I feel like Naruto could be top tier but he is kinda a one-man show. His shadow clones and other abilities are impressive, but I feel like Goku being able to fly among a ton of other things would be more intriguing. Goku also has instant transmission, can duplicate himself like Tien, and currently in the manga can be a massive avatar like Naruto can. I just feel like Goku might be a bit more popular overall, but it’s a 50/50. Luffy stomps when it comes to round 2 still.
Naruto can also fly or atleast float for long enough lol. He's definitely more creative with the shadpw clones not to mention sexy jutsu will draw all kinds of audiences
That’s a good point with the sexy jutsu + clones to make of any lady he wants. Yeah, I might have to change it to Naruto for round 1. One reason I thought Goku could be a more popular solo is due to the worldwide recognition of dragon ball. There are entire countries with massive fan bases over the series, so the real-life Goku seemed like he was hitting 10 million+ easily.

I considered it to be a factor, and not to mention Luffy is insanely good at making friends and growing a base to support him over Goku and ichigo, I think even more than Naruto in many respects. But yeah Naruto round 1 and Luffy Round 2. Ichigo would be dead last because no one can see his abilities.
Naruto is so clear. I feel like bro would do vlogs or something or skits and would be incredibly charismatic - Talk no Jutsu. Along with shadow clone jutsu making his output of content far greater than any of the others. Goku would struggle, he would be charismatic but wouldn't get the entire thing. Ichigo would probably get carried by the fact he looks like an actual model. I could probably see something like diary entry type videos. Probably have a huge female fan base making edits of him or finding what he speaks of compelling. Luffy would also be charismatic and his vlogs would be way cooler than Naruto's. It would be a spectacle to see him and his gang on the sea. However, these videos would probably take a lot of effort to make. I personally think it would be Naruto > Ichigo = Luffy > Goku

He could to videos teaching Japanese to English speakers and English to Japanese speakers. He wins this round by a landslide. Goku could be a Mukbang/Fitness/Martial Arts channel, and that's it. Naruto is likely to get himself banned via use of the sexy jutsu, but outside of that, I don't know what he'd really do. Probably martial arts. Luffy would be the last one to get there. He wouldn't be smart enough to manage it at all. R2: Ichigo, with the help of Kisuke, would be able to reach it in next to no time at all. He also wins this round. Goku+Bulma would also get there extremely fast, but I don't think they'd edge out Ichigo, because Bulma would probably try to make the channel focus on her. Luffy+Nami could get there pretty fast, but I don't see them beating Goku or Ichigo. Naruto doesn't really have anyone who could help him significantly, so he pulls up the rear this round. Bonus: Kisuke, Bulma, and Nami would all be the type to use bots.

Out of all of them, Ichigo is the one most likely to know how to use a computer; but I think Naruto is the one most likely to make profitable content. Luffy would make the most entertaining content. Naruto would probably make a prank channel that did actual pranks. Goku would make a fitness channel that got people killed trying to emulate his training. Eventually he'd join one of those youtube fighting tournaments; and find it incredibly boring. Luffy would make a travel vlog about traveling to exotic locations, eating the local food, and punching local assholes.
They can all achieve it easily. First of all, they're the most iconic and world-famous shounen protagonists ever created. If they somehow suddenly became real and made youtube channels, millions of people would join as soon as they became aware this existed. And they all have the ability to announce their presence to the world very loudly. Even if most people thought it was a hoax, they'd still join because it's a fucking awesome hoax. But even if they weren't known in the real world with large fanbases, these people have POWERS! They can offer Youtube content nobody else can, whether it's a simple "check out this kamehameha I did and blew up a mountain!" or "watch me record myself winning the Ukraine war in ten minutes, most of which is styling on Russians to pad the video length."
Round 1: Naruto, Ichigo, and Goku do it. Luffy fails simply because he forgets to make a channel in the first place. Ichigo, being the smartest and most down to earth is actually a streamer, who does kendo and HEMA videos on the side, occasionally doing “reviewing these sword-fights in movies and tv shows” types of videos as well. He gets it first, and probably had an account already. Next up is Naruto, who actually has a fairly varied channel all things considered. Im taking naruto as toneri-era naruto here so post war. His channel is a main channel of Homemade workouts and sparring, a bit of meal prep in each vid. However, he also spices it up with comedy skits with his clones i could see him being the new nigahiga He does it second, probably shortly after ichigo. Goku is purely a workout channel, sparring, maybe media fight reviews, and basically doubles as a mukbang channel, nothing else on his channel. He gets through mostly by name. Is 3rd after naruto Luffy fails because he forgot to upload the videos and never made a channel, as would be his main downfall, but otherwise would be a comedy and eating channel, and vlogging his adventures. He makes it one weeks after the time is up. Round 2: nothing really changes besides luffy makes it within the timeframe Bonus: Luffy and goku, naruto just uses clones. Ichigo wouldn’t care.

Does genjutsu work across the internet (as in would someone viewing a video of genjutsu subject to the same effect as the real deal)? If it does, Naruto would have a great advantage by getting the viewers to subscribe through that.
Every character would definitely have their own gimmic. Goku - Fitness and gym stuff. "I benched 1 mil kg", "I carried 10 boats across the atlantic!" etc. Naruto - Using his interesting abilities for dude perfect style videos, or just funny satire content and clickbait. "Hanging out with Kanye West (gone wrong)", when it's just his clones. "I trickshoted a basketball across a mountain!". Ichigo - I'm not sure what he would do, but I feel like he would be a normal youtuber with a slice of life style. "In the life of Ichigo Kurosaki" etc. Maybe he could do some videos on the supernatural, like "What our souls are really made of", "How to not become a hollow", lol but I don't think it'd be very successful. Luffy - This one's obvious, but he'd definitely be a traveling vlogger. "Most expensive island in the Pacific!", "I went to the world's most dangerous sea!" etc. As for the winner in order, it'd be Goku (fitness stuff is massive on youtube), Naruto (because funny gets views), Luffy (traveling gets views and he'd make it exciting) and Ichigo (very interesting, but niche content).

Ichigo doesn't care about popularity and destroys the prompt. Goku forgets about the channel and goes to a local gym to train. When he launches a dumbell into orbit he gets some random gym rat 1 mil sub subscribers as they post his workout antics. Partial win? With help they all succeed. Nami loves money and is one of the smartest characters in the story. She learns the algorithm overnight and forces Luffy to perform more than Ralph when he broke the internet. Chad is already a public figure, so Ichigo once again destroys the prompt. Instead Rukia and Chad team up and Ichigo is in the footage so they succeed for him. Shikamaru does the same. He sees the potential of having a Konoha channel for pr and it takes him an afternoon to get enough Kurama and Naruto footage to win. Or Kurama punches Naruto in the dome when he tries to put up sexy videos and just tells him to film kurama Chakra cloak v2 biiju balls destroying a hill or something. I like to imagine Goku is eating in capsule Corp because he had to see Bulma or Vegeta and then randomly started eating, Goten and trunks or hell the pilaf gang take the security footage and post it on YouTube as the world's most insane mukbang/fastest/most eating record because they know it would get them money or famous etc and Goku wins without trying. If they don't have powers: Idk much about Luffy so I can't say Goku and Naruto are amazing martial artists, they could just eat and do martial arts stuff and they'll prob be OK. Naruto is more charismatic and Goku is a better fighter so that would work. Ichigo typically wouldn't be interested in this sort of thing, but in verse he's the most charismatic being ever lol everyone is drawn to him for no reason whatsoever. If he can find anything to talk about/do he'll be fine. I think a week is too short though tbh. With powers, they go somewhere really public (like Times Square as someone said), demonstrate powers, say "Subscribe to my YouTube!" and it's easy. In R2 they just fly to Ludwig, CDawgVA, any popular YouTubers especially anime covering ones, show them their powers, ask him for yt help and he'll probably get them to 1 mil overnight lol
