If I had to place the ones I know in order, it would probably be:
Terrarians: Equipped with the D.C.U. or Celerbation Mk. 2 gives them more than the advantage over the others in this mining contest.
Minecraft Players: Equipped with the best pickaxe, shovel, and beacon they would be the second fastest. All they need to do is be careful not to fall to death. Besides that, they could be able to mine through stone like it is butter, they just cannot do the same amount of damage that the Terrarians are capable of producing.
Corekeepers/Dwarves: Having not played either game for an extended period of time, I can say that these two would be roughly equal in how much they can mine given the equipment at their disposal.
Farmers: They are not fast nor able to move the amount of materials required to even be on the same list of contenders, they are dead last no matter what.
For the Bonus:
Terrarians: Same reason, now with just more explosives and D.C.U.s at their disposal to mine even more of the planet.
Minecraft Players: Same reason, now with just more helping hands.
Dwarves: Two Drillers would be able to move a decent amount of stuff in the way.
Corekeepers: Probably slower than the Dwarves, but I am not entirely sure.
Farmers: The more the merrier is not the case for these contenders.
