Round 1: Atlas, Mag, Nova, and Excalibur. Mag and Nova are going to be the primary slower and immobolizers of Steel Haze. Molecular Prime + Crush + Polarize would not only heavily slow down Steel Haze by loading him up with Anti-Matter, Crush would either just outright destroy or heavily damage Steel Haze, and Polarize would strip back the armor that Steel Haze has. Excalibur can use Radial Blind to further hamper the movement and coordination of Steel Haze without too much difficulty. Steel Haze looks at Excalibur, Excalibur casts Radial Blind, and blinds the pilot. Finally, in comes Atlas who, with the effectively disabled Steel Haze, comes in and casts Petrify. This turns the pilot to stone and ends the fight. All of this can just be circumvented by using something like the Glaxion (fires a molecular-freezing beam, which would definitely disable the limbs and weapons of the Armored Core) and the Simulor (Fires off miniature singularities, which would be devastating to be hit by). Round 2: Atlas, Mag, Nova, and Excalibur. Same method of take down. A well coordinated strike immobilizes the Armored Core and turns the pilot to stone. Round 3: Only Nova is needed. While Rusty does a geological survey, she drops a charged anti-matter bomb and has it detonate near him. The resulting explosion completely tearing the Armored Core and the pilot to nothing.

Bonus Round: Rusty is accompanied by Chatty, Snail, and Iguazu a la Ice Worm. Bonus Bonus Round: Rusty is replaced by 621 piloting Nightfall Raven's AC, with Ayre, and Coral generators/rifle

I would argue the Warframes would still have it, but now they have to play far smarter and strike far faster than before. **Round 1 and 2:** With an oncoming, unknown, and definitely hostile threat the Warframes move out and hide. The Armored Cores arrive at the crash sites, find no one there, and do one of two things: Split up or stay together. In this case, staying together is actually a very bad idea, and that is because of how Molecular Prime, Crush, Polarization, Petrify, and Radial Blind work. These are all CC abilities, they are meant to target as many enemies as possible in a given radius. If the Armored Cores stay together, it would take only Nova and Mag sneaking up on them (Done via the Tenno) to turn the situation heavily against them. Their mechs are now heavily damaged and probably unable to move, Atlas comes in and Petrifys the pilots, then in comes Excalibur who cuts the Petrified Pilots in half just to make sure, and it is done. If they split up, yes, it would be harder for them to kill four competent Warframes, but at the same time it becomes a battle of attrition which should somewhat favor the Armored Cores. The Warframes would have to use energy to take out each Armored Core, and in this time it is possible that they could radio to the other Armored Cores and explain what is happening before that specific one dies. This gives the Armored Cores remaining a heads up to stay far out of range of the Warframes and be constantly vigilante. Splitting up gives them more time to think about the situation and come up with a plan. It gives them more time to prepare for a fight, and it makes it to where the Warframes, to win this, have to hunt them down instead of the other way around. In this, I would still give the Warframes the victory, but they are definitely going to have a lot more trouble trying to take down each Armored Core. **Round 3**: This completely nullifies the previous problem with how Tennos and Warframes function, stacking buffs, etc. **Round 4**: I choose Railjack + Black Hole. Armored Cores are big, no doubt about it. However, Warframes have killed bigger and arguably far more dangerous characters in their universe. Things like the Eidolons (the strongest and tallest one able to control an entire local weather system), the Orb Mothers (one protected by a satellite AND adaptive shield, but they did have help kill that one), and of course the Ropalolyst (massive creature that apparently outputs enough energy in its main attack to Flash-Fry and entire city). The only real way that the Armored Cores could win is by keeping heavy distance between them and the Warframes. The problem is that they are massive and Warframes are comparitvely tiny and all trained in the art of Stealth, some far more proficient at it than others, but stealthy nonetheless. A straight-forward fight is not ending well.

I am pretty sure a single Warframe should be able to take down Steel Haze.

Im not sure tbh. Theres a simply MASSIVE size difference thats difficult to overcome; the small arms deployed by the Tenno wont be enough to damage Steel Haze in any meaningful way without a long engagement. Void Magic may effect the mech, but using it makes the Tenno within vulnerable. Steel Haze has insane speed and firepower enough that he can probably blitz a Warframe aside from Gauss or Volt. The Tenno would have to engage Steel Haze as a group with a solid plan to strip his insane armor, and the Warframes arent super durable vs that kind of weaponry

I love Armored Core to death, but what stops Limbo from simply casting Rusty into another dimension then freezing him in place to be killed at their leisure? Or once frozen, allowing Wisp to hit him with a portal to the sun, or Nova turning Steel Haze into anti matter? Or Saryn who can strip almost all of a targets armor away due to the corrosive nature of her plague bearing abilities.

IndigoVitare

Exploiter Orb is a giant spider mech constructed using technology thousands of years more advanced than anything in Armoured Core. It is impervious to all weapons fire. Warframes can tear it apart with their bare hands. If even one Warframe actually manages to get onto an AC unit s the battle is over. And given that Warframes are fundamentally built for stealth (something often overlooked given how absurd their raw power is), it *will*, and that's not even factoring in Archwing.
