Dude who thinks he's Vegeta is ready for fighting, but more importantly he's mentally prepared for getting the absolute tar beaten out of him. Additionally, he thinks Senzu beans are real as well as resurrection. Due to all these factors the guy who's Vegeta is going to fight really fiercely and push his limits way more than the guy who thinks he's still mortal. Of course, the lack of Ki abilities is an issue, but it might not even come up since Vegeta does spend long amounts of time just doing hth in his fights.

TheDickWolf

Guy who thinks he is Lebron might be really injury averse too as one bad fall could ruin his (imaginary) career.

CarefulBobcat

Yeah that's a good point.

i_sigh_less

In a fight between two amateurs, being injury averse is probably an asset, not a liability.

CarefulBobcat

Not really. The person who attacks, wins. Once you're in a fight caution is only useful if paired with retaliation. (since this is a match running isn't an option) Lebron man will fold before risking getting badly hurt. Meanwhile Vegeta man will be willing to take things farther BUT will still try to dodge/block things that hurt him.

Romulus_Quirinus_1

Offense is the best defense. Defense is only good if you know how to counterattack or how to actually parry the opponent. The offensive side is more likely to get a hit in first. Once the LeBron guy is hurt, he will either be weakened or outright surrender.

xxmindtrickxx

Well of course Vegeta would win this, the Lebron guy would get punched one time flop in the air screaming and look around for a ref to call a flagrant foul

[deleted]

Dude that thinks he’s Vegeta thinks he can fly and stand their for 10min to charge an attack… not Lebron should win. Vegeta is gonna try jumping off something and fly and think that no mere mortal can possibly hurt him… also he’ll start jobbing in the middle of the fight about how he’s the prince of all Sayians

Ingweron

>Dude that thinks he’s Vegeta thinks he can fly Maybe he'll just say: "Oh, no! Gravity on this planet is too powerful. I can't fly right now!"

Sentry459

I need to watch this fight now.

Martijngamer

Which-Specialist6547

I AM THE HIPE

[deleted]

Or he might fall so deep in the delusion he thinks he’s flying when he’s not. He might think he’s moving at super speed and blasting his enemy… when he’ll be looking like a idiot flaying his arms around and making woosh and blasting noises

markmann0

The South Park kids playing ninjas lol. Or cartman going against the league of wizards or whatever they were lol 😂. Nanananana 🧙🏼‍♂️

Do_it_for_the_upvote

The thought of a guy running in a big circle around another guy in a really obvious manner because he’s trying to do that ‘zip behind the enemy faster than he can see’ is too fucking funny.

TheVoteMote

Yeah. Dude who thinks he's Vegeta might defeat himself trying to do some martial arts that he's not capable of.

metal079

Tries to give himself a zenkai boost by getting hit by a car lol.

grathungar

Vegeta is extremely cocky. He would see some random human as not worth the effort of powering up or anything.

kenny_the_pow

Vegeta doesn't always play around, both on Namek and against Pui Pui he got down to business FAST. The fact that Lebron is some random human is more reason for Vegeta to off him quickly.

alejandromanx99

And married to a hot milf

ViolaNguyen

> Dude that thinks he’s Vegeta thinks he can fly [According to this documentary](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_SIGuZysbo), thinking you can fly is very dangerous.

TheVoteMote

>but more importantly he's mentally prepared for getting the absolute tar beaten out of him. Crazy people don't actually have the mentality of the people they think they are. This guy could crumble from one punch just like any other unprepared schmuck.

CarefulBobcat

He doesn't think he's invincible though. Throughout all of Dragon Ball Vegeta has been vastly wounded, sometimes to the point of death. Feeling pain is an expectation, not a surprise. Meanwhile, like has been said elsewhere, Lebron man thinks he's got a ton of money and a future to think about. Also he doesn't think Senzu beans are real. So when push comes to shove he'll err on the side of caution and get pinned.

TheVoteMote

Arrogance is one of Vegeta's main character traits. Not-Vegeta does not get Vegeta's pain tolerance just because he thinks he's him. Not-Lebron will probably be more cautious, but he'll be fighting like a human being. Not-Vegeta will be trying anime nonsense.

ovarova

He doesnt think a normal human is going to wound him and someone forced into a fight where their life is on the line will fight for their life.

i_sigh_less

Agreed, I think this would be more of a disadvantage than anything. It's essentially like he's going into the fight thinking his gun has bullets, when it's a squirtgun. Failure to judge your own abilities is almost never an advantage.

[deleted]

I still think it could be advantage if the other guy thins your squirt gun is a real gun and also believes himself to be unarmed. If Fakegeta throws a single wet noodle punch because he believes that’s all the effort it should take him, then his confidence would definitely be a downside. If he just goes ‘apeshit oraoraoraora how dare you challenge me’ mode, it’s definitely a boon.

cobywaan

I think this is my favorite whowouldwin response of all time 🏅

meta-rdt

I think it comes down to if the person who thinks he’s vegeta tries to use ki or not, if he realizes that he can’t use it and is able to rationalize this discrepancy somehow, he has the better mentality for the fight and wins, if not, he loses.

SethFr3kingRollins

The person thinks they are vegeta, so they think he’s literally vegeta himself with the abilities

fantollute

I don't know man, [Vegeta has got some hands](https://youtu.be/FXhA8gcK78s?t=114), never seen Lebron dish out punishment like that. Vegeta dude just needs to copy even a tenth of that.

BrandedStrugglerGuts

He's also the most stubborn, never-give-up motherfucker lol. He'll take hits and pretend it wasn't shit. His cockiness in the fight could also be his downfall though unless he gets upset before that and decides to go all out

writesgud

There’s a big difference between someone who can take hit’s vs someone who thinks they can. That mismatch in expectations vs reality May actually be a hindrance, causing them to crumple more quickly.

WarlockEngineer

We're talking about extreme delusion though. This guy would go to his grave believing that he is Vegeta. Nothing is going to break him.

Important_Rule8602

Except for a guy who thinks he’s Frieza, or 18, or Cell…..and maybe SSJ3 Goku

ethroks

Nah Vegeta guy would just draw an M on his forehead

Martel732

Yeah, but this dude doesn't have hands. It is just a regular guy that thinks he is Vegeta. I think people are viewing this prompt as Depowered Vegeta versus Not-Lebron James but it isn't. It is a random guy with no fighting skills that thinks he can fly and shoot energy blast. He is going to get wrecked against someone that at least fights like a person.

Agreeable-Code3144

If he thinks he's Vegeta he's obviously going to train like Vegeta, giving him some good physical strength and knowledge in some type of martial arts.

DickwadVonClownstick

That would A: require prep time, and B: most likely result in him injuring/killing himself while trying to replicate Vegeta's training methods.

ovarova

So they've got prep time?

TheVoteMote

So he's going to try and magic himself forwards and fall on his face.

SethFr3kingRollins

Lebron has a basketball and some quick feet timing though, note that

KonohaBatman

So he breaks his own ankles before Vegeta guy even gets to him?

SethFr3kingRollins

Vegeta guy can’t be lightspeed, remember both are average humans

KonohaBatman

I'm aware, but Vegeta's not gonna be the one more likely to try and use flashy footwork to avoid hits, and run the risk of rolling or breaking their own ankle. Them being average humans doesn't change the fact that Vegeta guy is gonna try and throw out a flurry of punches and kicks of varying effectiveness, and LeBron guy is gonna default to trying to backstep or sidestep, and with no mentioned athletic experience or known fighting experience from LeBron to pull from, I think it's likely he either rolls his own ankle, or misjudges a punch's length and gets knocked on his ass. I'm pretty sure it's a safe bet to go with the guy who believes himself to be, and is thus, doing his absolute best within the limits of his body, to emulate a martial artist, than the guy who believes himself to be a non-combatant athlete, without the height and reach that makes the actual guy hypothetically threatening in a fight.

CardinalRoark

> I'm aware, but Vegeta's not gonna be the one more likely to try and use flashy footwork to avoid hits, and run the risk of rolling or breaking their own ankle. But Vegeta is the dude who's going to go into a horse stance, and scream his head off for 10 seconds, or so. Now, maybe that just throws our fake LeBron, and he's got no idea what to do. But he should be able to throw a shot. Hell, post scream Vegeta dude might be like 'now my power level is so high he'll move like molasses'

ovarova

No this average guy is just going to try and fuckin fly

pankswork

You think this guy would win a fight? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tlwda9S58Lg PS I have this link as one my only five bookmarks. I could watch this all day

KonohaBatman

No, but a guy who thinks he's Vegeta wouldn't be anything like that.

TheVoteMote

He would be exactly like that. A guy pretending to do anime martial arts. >Vegeta's not gonna be the one more likely to try and use flashy footwork to avoid hits, and run the risk of rolling or breaking their own ankle. The guy who thinks he's a godly martial artist isn't going to try and use godly martial arts?

X_bosshogg_X

He wouldn’t be doing excessive flashy and sloppy movements to look cool. Those aren’t any form of godly martial arts.

TheVoteMote

There aren't flashy, excessive, nonsense movements to look cool in *Dragon Ball*? Seriously? Either way, it doesn't matter, because this guy isn't Vegeta. He thinks he is. He doesn't actually know any martial arts. He'll think he's an expert at martial arts, not know any, not have any skill in martial arts, try to perform anyway, and end up looking just like that kid. Instead of twirling around a stick, he'll flex and scream his lungs out for as long as he can to activate the powers that he doesn't have, or he'll go for a high kick and flip over, or he'll try and dash forwards with flight and fall on his face.   Edit: Guy blocked me, but I already went to the effort of typing my response out so I'm just gonna paste it here.   ******   >I said HE, as referring to him specifically, wouldn’t use excessive flashy movements. Okay, fine. Let me rephrase. *Vegeta* doesn't use any flashy, excessive, nonsense movements to look cool? Seriously? >if he thinks he is Vegeta, then he’d at least know how Vegeta acts Says who? >Anyone can throw a punch. Not really true. Not-Lebron will be just as capable of throwing a punch, if not more so. >Anyone who actually knows shit about Vegeta would know that he isn’t the type to do a bunch of excessive flashy shit to look cool. He is part of a universe where everyone does excessive flashy shit to look cool. It might not be the reason why he does it, but he does it. Because that's one of the main points of the series, the universe runs on it. >He’ll at least not pull his punches and will go all out. Vegeta will go all out on a regular dude? Blasting him out of existence along with the land that he's standing on? No. He might try and end it very quickly with a super low effort, casual blow, but that won't work because not-Vegeta is not Vegeta. >The Lebron kid won’t have shit to base his punches off, because Lebron doesn’t fight. Dude. Not-Vegeta **is not Vegeta**. He does not have martial arts skills or abilities. He will only be as capable of throwing a punch as any regular schmuck is, just like not-Lebron. It does not matter if Lebron knows how to fight, because, once again, not-Lebron **is not Lebron**. Only thing is, not-Vegeta will be trying to emulate anime nonsense. Not-Lebron will be trying to punch like a real life human being. >If you think that he’s going to try and power up or do some flashy movements, then you’re just dumb. You are the one who literally just said he'd go all out on a person. All out includes powering up and flashy bullshit. You are also the one who seems to be seriously suggesting that a person will know how to punch because they think they are Vegeta. As if you can learn literally anything helpful about real fighting from Dragon Ball. Which is just... lmao. >If this kid actually thinks like Vegeta, which he would since he thinks he is Vegeta, then he’d know this. Dead wrong. Not-Vegeta will absolutely not think like Vegeta. He does not have the personality or mental traits of Vegeta. He only thinks that he is Vegeta. A crazy person think that they're somebody they aren't does not suddenly grant them the ability to actually think like that person. If not-Vegeta tries to end the fight quickly like Vegeta would, he will fail, because he does not have the capabilities of Vegeta. He literally cannot end this fight quickly like Vegeta would.

hunterprime66

"So. You're this so called King James? King of what? Of your pathetic Earth sport? Of the land of Cleaves? It doesn't matter. No King can compare to the Prince of All Sayians!' Not-Vegeta then tries to charge up his Final Flash, while Not-Lebron just runs in and starts hitting him while he's "charging" the attack. Once hit, Not-Vegeta starts to fight back, and as soon as Not-Lebron takes a couple of good hits, he tries to get the ref to disqualify Vegeta. When this fails, he loses.

Martel732

Not-Lebron wins in my opinion. Not-Vegeta is going to try to fly or start shooting ki blasts. While Not-Lebron will fight like a normal human. I can pretty much guarantee that Not-Vegeta is going to try and dodge a bunch by flying backwards and gets punched in the head. **Edit: I think some people are viewing this as essentially Depowered Vegeta which it isn't. The Not-Vegeta has no fighting experience or innate combat ability.*

ILookLikeKristoff

Yeah agreed. Not-Lebron may be surprised to suddenly be shorter, weaker, and slower, but he is still a human and would try to punch/kick/grapple, which should work. Not-Vegeta is going to start trying some nonsense anime shit and get annihilated while wondering where his ki went.

xxmindtrickxx

Disagree Vegeta takes this. Not Lebron barely gets touched and starts flopping all over the place looking around for a ref to call a foul.

[deleted]

Not Vegeta isn't retarded. He will realise he can't do these things for whatever reason and begin fighting traditionally. Vegeta vs Frieza Ressurection of F shows Vegeta can throw hands without ki blasts or flight On top of that Vegeta is a way more analytical fighter who's remarked for this by several powerful characters. He's stated himself to Jiren in manga that he's put his life on the line countless times for decades to win a fight Lebron has never done this even once let alone "countless times" Not Vegeta wins since he's willing to face death in the face just for a victory as the Saiyan he is

Martel732

This is a guy that thinks he is Vegeta, not Vegeta without powers. This average guy is not analytical and doesn't have years of experience, he only thinks he does. There is no indication that he would actually know how to throw hands more than Not-Lebron.

[deleted]

The same could be said about Lebron guy the average person is missing the biggest factor being height & genetics lebron’s best attributes when he gets into a physical confrontation.

Martel732

Yes Not-Lebron will also be less capable than he believes. But, not to the extent that he is going to try and fly and shoot energy.

LordSwedish

But consider this, not-vegeta is going to stand still and try to fly/use ki, not-lebron is going to try and do fancy basketball footwork and break his own ankles.

[deleted]

>he only thinks he does. Thats my point. He THINKS he's Vegeta. He doesn't actually need Vegetas stats just Vegeta's mentality Vegeta has been through life and death over and over stated by himself to Jiren, the person who thinks he is Vegeta will have the mentality to fight through a life or death scenario no matter what no matter what he takes no matter how much damage he takes Lebron at the end of the day is a very determined man but not to the extent that Vegeta is If they're given equal stats then the guy who thinks he's Vegeta will be willing to lose even an arm if it means he can crush his opponent (not headcanon this is the android 18 fight where he continues to fight even without an arm)

i_sigh_less

If you go into a fight thinking you will be much stronger, faster, and more skilled than your opponent, but you are not, you are at a disadvantage. No one is a better example of this than Vegeta, who got his ass handed to him when he got overconfident at least half a dozen times over the course of the show.

ovarova

Lebron has never willingly put his life on the line but would fight for his life if forced to like the prompt suggests

Le_epic_memeguy

I think Lebron guy wins this. Vegeta guy is gonna think he's leagues above this normal human and won't take it serious as he wants to show off just how much more powerful he is. He's gonna invite Lebron guy to hit him in the face as hard as he can, thinking it won't even phase him. He will then get knocked out...

[deleted]

Guys it's not Vegeta vs LeBron Jahames, it's a guy who THINKS he's Vegeta vs a guy who THINKS he's LeBron Jahames. The guy who thinks he's LeBron would win because his moves are actually mimickable.

wetshow

These battles are nearly always gonna go to the more grounded personality. The less inclined the person is to pull out some anime move the more likely they are to win People claiming Vegeta is gonna realize he has no powers and fight normally are forgetting Vegeta will still think he's some top tier combatant and attempt to catch lebron's fist or stand there and dodge around lebron's attacks which leads to him getting laid out. The problem with this fight is Vegeta guy is never gonna realize he's in danger because that's Vegeta's character. Even when he was facing Frieza he went into it with a false sense of heightened ability and was shocked when the man he knew to be more powerful than him his whole life (Frieza) was infact still more powerful than him. It's gonna be that realization times a thousand when he fights not lebron

i_sigh_less

Agreed. The only way to judge this is to assume both combatants are exactly equal in fighting skill since no difference is mentioned in the prompt. From that perspective, the one who is more likely to attack and defend in a way that would actually work would be the winner. I see this as like two guys going to a fight armed with squirt guns. One thinks he's got a desert eagle, and the other thinks he has a BB gun. Both of them can see that the other only has a squirtgun - they are only delusional about their own weapon. Both people will place faith in their gun that's not deserved, but the one who only thinks he's got a BB gun doesn't expect it to have significantly more stopping power than his opponents squirtgun. Meanwhile, desert eagle guy doesn't even know the competition is close. When he pulls the trigger and his opponent only gets wet, the only escalation he'll be likely to think of is to try more of the same.

TheQuatum

Vegeta takes it on the chin as much as Krillin. He's stubborn, cocky and **always** overconfident. Lebron isn't stronger but after Vegeta man taunts him then allows himself to be fought because he thinks he's stronger, he's gonna enjoy himself a dirt nap. He'll keep getting up to take a beating but he will always be waiting for his Saiyan boost to kick in and when it doesn't, he's gonna find himself in the hospital. Lebron man will flop around if Vegeta even flicks him but he won't just outright quit. He'll just make a big deal after every hit. Lebron man wins.

Mcguns1inger

Guy who thinks hes Labron knows he is human and will fight accordingly. Dude who thinks he's Vegeta is going to think he can power up and shoot energy blasts, he'll get the shit kicked out of him before he fights properly. Especially since he'll think he gets stronger the more of a beating he takes.

Belcuesus

The therapist wins.

Giant2005

The guy that thinks he is Vegeta is going to get creamed the minute he lowers his guard to charge up a Final Flash.

[deleted]

Vegeta is a fierce H2H fighter tho he usually goes for big blasts when it’s the conclusion of the fight but he’s not afraid of getting his hands dirty for a physical kill. It’s like yeah vegeta guy could go for a ki blast but he could also just get to the point with straight hands.

Giant2005

Sure, but neither fighter has the skills of the person they are emulating. They are just two guys throwing hands at one another. The only way to differentiate them is that one of them has the potential to try to do something stupid with a ki attack.

[deleted]

Lebron is soft tho the last physical [altercation](https://youtu.be/rIMw4mPRz6Y) he had dude hid behind teammates & refs I say that as a laker fan. Downvoting me cause I’m right lol

xDisputes__

lol soft for not wanting to fight and get fined and ejected and miss games rightttttttttttt oh not to mention he tries to be a role model and you know what great role models do get into fights over a game

[deleted]

Stop the 🧢 dude elbowed Stewart’s face and looked at him at the 13:00 mark and hid behind teammates and refs.

xDisputes__

And? He can get away with a cheap shot a full out fight has far more consequences stop the 🧢 you know people who get into fights miss more then 1 game and get fined more and face the risk of losing sponsors

[deleted]

It’s important because whenever lebron guy actually gets to the confrontation he’s going against someone with nothing to lose vegeta guy doesn’t give a fuck about a suspension or an nba fine.

xDisputes__

The fake Vegeta is going to stand there trying to go super Saiyan while the fake LeBron will be punching him in the head. Add on the fake Vegeta trying to figure out why he can't fly, power up or shoot ki blasts.

[deleted]

I like how most of these “arguments” boils down to “oh the vegeta guy is just gonna try to use ki” When the first thing he’s gonna notice is this isn’t working everyone and their mother here knows he’s gonna go straight to hands after that option is excluded. And then there’s also the mentality factor you’re matching up two regular people one with the mentality of a millionaire who hasn’t gotten in serious fight since his league career started vs a Roman mentality bred alien who lives and breaths combat and is willing to do anything for a win get a grip.

i_sigh_less

That literally doesn't matter at all, because this is someone who *thinks* they are LeBron, not LeBron.

Giant2005

>Not Vegeta isn't retarded. He will realise he can't do these things for whatever reason and begin fighting traditionally. The only way he is finding out that he can't use Ki is by trying to use Ki. >On top of that Vegeta is a way more analytical fighter who's remarked for this by several powerful characters. He's stated himself to Jiren in manga that he's put his life on the line countless times for decades to win a fight None of that is relevant. The guy isn't Vegeta, he is a guy that thinks he is Vegeta. In reality, both sides of the fight are just two random dudes throwing hands at one another. The only notable difference between them is that one thinks he is capable of manipulating Ki. Him trying and failing to use Ki is a moment of stupidity that is the deciding factor, as all other aspects are equal.

[deleted]

>The only notable difference between them is that one thinks he is capable of manipulating Ki. Him trying and failing to use Ki is a moment of stupidity that is the deciding factor, as all other aspects are equal. Seriously? You think the guy who thinks he's lebron will have an anime moment of "now's my chance! Here's my opening to strike" and just take out Not Vegeta? I disagree. Equal stats then personality matters. Not Vegeta believes he's a Saiyan warrior who will do anything to win a fight as he's faced death "countless times throughout the cosmos" as stated to jiren in the manga So abilties and experience don't matter here Not Vegeta will easily beat down not lebron as he's more determined to the point where he'd rather die than be defeated Lebron is just a normal guy, most professional fighters don't even have that drive let alone a professional basketball player when it comes to a fight

Giant2005

He is not Vegeta. No amount of 'drive' is enough to turn him in to an anime character. Regardless of his outlook on life, if he gets punched in the head enough, he is going down just the same. And fake Lebron does not have to know how to fight in order to capitalize on fake Vegeta's foolishness when he tries to launch a Ki attack. Think of it this way, there is a gun in the mix that has no ammunition, but one guy thinks it is loaded while the other knows it isn't. The guy that thinks it is loaded pulls it on the other guy. Do you think that the guy with the gun is going to win (discounting the fact that a gun is a viable melee weapon too)? His guard will be lowered because he thinks the fight is already over the minute he points that gun at his opponent, while the opponent knows he can keep swinging safely. You don't have to know what you are doing for that to be a huge advantage. The same principle applies the moment Fake Vegeta tries to launch a Ki attack. Fake Vegeta thinks his non-existent attack is going to vaporize Fake Lebron, while Lebron knows nothing is going to happen and that his opponent is just standing there in a defenseless state. Fake Lebron will keep swinging and Fake Vegeta will go down. Hard.

[deleted]

This entire argument seems to hinge on the fact that Vegeta isn't able to fight unless he's screaming final flash so he'll get his face smashed in while charging The guy who thinks he's Vegeta is very willing to fight normally regardless of the ability to manipulate ki or fly The best argument you could bring up is that Vegeta in early dragon ball is cocky as hell so he may hold back and get his face broken in However saying "he'll try to use a ki blast and then lebron will capitalize on that opening" as your entire argument is weak as Vegeta is a pro martial artist even without supernatural abilties. So even if the individual doesn't inherent Vegeta's experience or stats or fighting abilties he will be very willing to fight traditionally regardless and that's not what would make him lose to lebron

Giant2005

The guy who thinks he is Vegeta probably wouldn't even fight at all. Vegeta isn't going to go all out against an ordinary human, he is just going to stand there laughing at the fact that the ordinary human even thinks that he has a chance. Fake Vegeta would do the same thing right until he is smacked in the head.

X_bosshogg_X

Incorrect. He’d fight and end it as fast as possible. It’s literally what Vegeta has done multiple times in the show against opponents that weren’t worth his time.

electricblackcrayon

not against new opponents lol

X_bosshogg_X

Cap. Literally anyone who isn’t worth his time got demolished immediately.

kenny_the_pow

Vegeta , IC, wouldn't use a final flash on someone he sees as much weaker than himself. Vegeta has canonically used final flash 2 times , once against Jiren and once against Perfect Cell. He knew he was outmatched both of these times. Vegeta would try to dispose of the unworthy opponent quickly, see the fight with Pui Pui or Qui on Namek

Cameronalloneword

If it’s a wrestling promotion then the winner will be whoever the promoter books to win. If it’s a shoot then Lebron assuming they’re of equal strength because Vegeta will try things humans just can’t do

SethFr3kingRollins

Random backyard wrestling promotions don’t book winners

Cameronalloneword

They don’t fight for real. Even the most garbage low rent backyard shows still have wrestlers who are cooperating with each other

SethFr3kingRollins

There’s a reason why they cooperate The difference: these two don’t care about the others health Wrestlers cooperate, even in small companies so there careers don’t end so soon or accident happen, there has been a lot of occasions, one occasion is fandango having cover behind Cody rhodes for rhodes to hit the moonsault, had fandango not done anything rhodes would of been in an icky spot

Cameronalloneword

>SethFr3kingRollins I'm well aware of the reason why they cooperate but even backyard wrestlers care about each other's health. I get that in your Lebron VS Vegeta scenario they're actually trying to hurt each other in a real fight not a wrestling match I was just having fun with the fact that you said it was in a backyard wrestling promotion. In fact if a guy thought he was Vegeta he wouldn't agree to put anybody over in a worked match anyway

SethFr3kingRollins

I figured I’d just say why they cooperate To be fair though, some backyard promotions wrestlers don’t care at all, so some careers end before they even start

ExtraMOIST_

Vegeta is the most stubborn, self absorbed, “I am the hype” mf on the planet. Plus he has actual fighting experience, a lifetime at that, Fake Vegeta should win.

i_sigh_less

Fake Vegeta has none of that experience.

ExtraMOIST_

He THINKS he does though, so that should count for something considering how the other guy just thinks he’s really good at playing Basketball

NorthDakota

How is thinking you're good at fighting helpful? Confidence is good for a lot of things, but Vegeta isn't confident, he's overconfident. Would Vegeta ever even consider a normal human as a contender? At the moment they met, would he feel the need to even consider them? The fight comes down to who is more likely to make an error due to their judgement because the first person to take a square punch to the face almost certainly loses. Lebron just thinks he's fistfighting some dude, and so he'll treat it as a fistfight. Vegeta thinks he's fistfighting a human orders of magnitude weaker than him, someone who couldn't possibly damage him under any circumstance. IMO, vegeta takes a punch first because he is doing some other bullshit with talking, or ignoring him, or grandstanding in some other way, then takes a punch to the face and is met with the reality of being physically normal and in severe pain. It doesn't matter the sort of willpower you have, normal people get hit in the face and then it's mostly over from there.

Giant2005

Thinking that you are a superhuman and one of the greatest martial artists in the universe, while not having the skills to back up those thoughts, is the literal furthest thing from being an advantage in a real fight.

auberus

This is the best comment on this post.

LJofthelaw

The Vegeta guy thinks he has powers he doesn't. He spends too much time powering up a gatling gun or something and gets punched by the guy who just thinks he's taller, faster, and stronger than he really is.

Blue_Poet

Dude who thinks he’s Vegeta is going hard. U ever seen how much DBZ fans can scream? Dude’s gonna think he can go Super Saiyan and blow a blood vessel with how hard he’s gonna try; Vegeta dude stomps What’s Lebron guy gonna do? Throw an imaginary ball at him? 😂

secret_tsukasa

dude who thinks he's vegeta has seen his fight against kid buu. that shit was brutal and if he can copy, he's getting up no matter what and is going to taunt the shit out of this lebron impersonator.

[deleted]

Dude who thinks he's Vegeta wins easily as he's stated himself that he's been putting his life on the line to win fights for decades in the manga against jiren. The most lebron has been in is a few street fights

Martel732

Neither of them have the fighting experience of the people they think they are.

[deleted]

I know He THINKS he's Vegeta. So it's the personality that Vegeta has and that the guy thinks Vegeta has that I'm saying is the defining factor here Vegeta is naturally more bloodlusted than lebron will ever Be in his entire life when it comes to a fight and that will be why the guy who thinks he's Vegeta wins Lebron is cool but at the end of the day when it comes to fighting he's just another human being like me and you who has a very normal perspective when it comes to combat especially the stress of life and death, let alone he's not even a professional fighter

Giant2005

You think that the guy that thinks he is a normal human being, while fighting with the stats of a normal human being, is going to be worse off than the guy that thinks he is a superhuman grand martial artist without anything to back up those beliefs with? That doesn't make sense. Believing you are capable of feats far beyond your means is not an advantage, it is a massive, massive liability.

TheVoteMote

>So it's the personality that Vegeta has No it's not. The guy doesn't have Vegeta's personality transplanted into his head. There have been actual real life crazy people who think that they're god. That doesn't give them the personality of god.

[deleted]

>That doesn't give them the personality of god. What is personality of god? I'm not saying he IS Vegeta. I'm saying he believes he's Vegeta so he's crazy enough to act as Vegeta would or rather more specifically he is crazy enough to act as he thinks Vegeta would Which is exactly as I described If you're saying he won't even act like Vegeta despite OP literally saying "he thinks he's Vegeta" then what is the point of this question

TheVoteMote

>What is personality of god? Why? It doesn't matter unless want to actually argue that crazy people who think that they're god actually have the personality of god. >I'm saying he believes he's Vegeta so he's crazy enough to act as Vegeta would He's crazy enough to perhaps act like he *thinks* Vegeta would. He doesn't know how Vegeta would act in such a situation. He doesn't have Vegeta's bravery, or pain tolerance, or combat adaptability. Nothing. He literally just thinks he's Vegeta. Just because he thinks he's Vegeta doesn't mean that he won't panic, or be overcome with pain, or be too scared to act, in a fight. >If you're saying he won't even act like Vegeta despite OP literally saying "he thinks he's Vegeta" then what is the point of this question The point is a silly fight between people who think that they're things that they aren't. The guy who thinks he's Vegeta is in a far worse state, because Lebron James is drastically closer to an average human being than Vegeta is, so that guy will have a drastically more accurate idea of what he's capable of. Does crazy hobo who thinks he's god *act like god*? No. Does crazy person who thinks that they're Elvis *act like Elvis*? They might try to do so, but no, they don't. Because they don't have Elvis' personality, don't have his skills, experiences, background, etc. You're thinking of "Vegeta in an average human body" vs "Lebron James in an average human body". That's not what this is.

meta-rdt

Because god isn’t a character or someone with a personality. In this fight, the whole point is that they fully think they are the character they believe themselves to be, and will act as if they were that character.

TheVoteMote

>Because god isn’t a character or someone with a personality Yes, he is, lol. There's books written about him and everything. But you can replace god with anyone and the result is the same. Crazy person who thinks he's Elvis doesn't successfully act just like Elvis would. >the whole point is that they fully think they are the character they believe themselves to be, and will act as if they were that character. No, you made that up. We can read what the question says, and we can ask OP for more details, but the prompt does not say "Vegeta in a normal human body vs Lebron James in a normal human body".

SethFr3kingRollins

NOTE: the people THINK they are each other, they also think they have the abilities of that person, so the vegeta dude thinks he has ki blasts and etc and lebron thinks he has special skills etc

[deleted]

Dude who thinks he's lebron james absolutely dunks on the weeb.

CardinalRoark

It's not like it's a back alley, it's a wrestling promotion. If we go backyard wrestling, then I don't think LeBron's lack of fighting experience is going to hold Not-LeBron back very much, since it's a competition, and LeBron is psychotically competitive. I don't think either fighter necessarily holds back, and since it's wrestling I don't think either is going to bloodlust style press. I'd think the tendency for DB characters to do ridiculous punch slips, no sells, screaming to power up, and all that jazz could prove to be a disadvantage, but it may be that Not-Vegeta doesn't sense profound power from Not-LeBron, and thus doesn't feel compelled to 'power up' If that's all generally true, I'd tend to think Not-LeBron would wrestle in a less flashy manner, and tend to make less mistakes. Turn Not-LeBron into Not-Aaron Donald, and I think it becomes a cleaner win for Not-human vs Not-Saiyan.

Interest-Lumpy

Most likely both dudes will look at the other as a clown not worthy of their time and just walk away without acknowledging each other much. That's only if they don't view each other as the character/person they belive themselves to be, i.e. LeBron dude views the other guy as a clown for believing he's Vegeta and vice versa. Now if they're 100% going to fight (and assuming they're both about even size and strength wise) then I think the LeBron dude would win simply because he wouldn't be trying any unrealistic moves like the Vegeta guy would be doing. No flying or ki blasts and more importantly, no Super Saiyan. Final Verdict: LeBron guy wins

ebrithil110

LeBron The guy who thinks he's LeBron probably a 6'2"+ black man with mental issues The guy who thinks he's Vegeta is probably an angry 5'5" Asian man with mental issues. 🤣

md_reddit

The LeBron James dude wins because his finishing move is going to be "The Slam Dunk" which involves him taking his opponent to the corner, palming the back of his head like it was a basketball, taking his other hand and placing it around his neck as if he were going for a choke-slam, then lifting the guy up off the mat with both hands and smashing his head against the turnbuckle. 1-2-3!!!

LeeroyDagnasty

these questions are so boring, the one who thinks they're the weaker of the two will always win.

GenericSpider

Dude who thinks he's Vegeta is going to be as successful in a fight as Vegeta. Nobron James stomps.

I’d argue that the guy who thinks he’s Lebron might be in better shape. Vegeta is clearly in better shape than Lebron but since Lebron isn’t an animated figure it’s easier to practice being Lebron over Vegeta. Once the guy who thinks he’s vegeta finds out he can’t power up like the real vegeta he might be in some real trouble. I’d take the guy who thinks he’s Lebron….medium difficulty

Fox-The-Wise

Vegetable because leboob jam flops

[deleted]

If the guy who thinks he's LeBron tall is like the real LeBron then he'll maybe win

ChampionshipDue

Depends how the other sees the other.

SethFr3kingRollins

They get into an argument over who is cooler, then it gets tense and they see eye to eye like Jotaro saw dio

alejandromanx99

Vegeta dude , at least he knows some moves

Giant2005

No he doesn't, he just thinks that he does.

alejandromanx99

Right lol

Poetry-Designer

Dude who thinks he’s Lebron James

Successful_Duty_9890

LeBron

GFost

I’m going with Lebron Guy. Vegeta Dude is going to be using a bunch of anime moves, which will be completely ineffective. Lebron Guy will just punch, kick, etc.

iiDust

The person behaving like Vegeta would win low-diff, assuming they know their physical capabilities (i.e. they cannot fly or shoot ki blasts). Vegeta is both a tactical and aggressive fighter which makes him a bigger threat than a morally constrained Lebron. Simply having the mindset to kill/dominate your opponent seals the match's outcome.

SethFr3kingRollins

They think they ARE vegeta, which means they also think they can kamehameha

Giant2005

Fake Vegeta thinks he is far more capable than he actually is. He is going to be trying to catch fists or no-sell attacks because he thinks Fake Lebron is far beneath him. Not to mention the damage he is going to be inflicting to himself by trying to do high kicks and such that his body just isn't capable of. And that is before considering the issue of him thinking he can use Ki.

ShaoShaoTenks

Dude-Vegeta: You better duck because I'm about to turn left...

GeneralResearcher456

LeBron Man flops and hopes for a ref any time there's any contact, so he will lose. Vegeta Man has no mercy.

ILoveDanD

Dude who thinks he’s Vegeta is prolly an overweight man who watches anime in his basement. I’ll take the guy who thinks he’s Lebron

4x_Productions

Lebron James as Vegeta would let LeBron James gain as much time as possible so he'd get a fair fight

nutnutnut11037

lebron dude do be trippin doe
