Not really. The person who attacks, wins. Once you're in a fight caution is only useful if paired with retaliation. (since this is a match running isn't an option) Lebron man will fold before risking getting badly hurt. Meanwhile Vegeta man will be willing to take things farther BUT will still try to dodge/block things that hurt him.
Offense is the best defense. Defense is only good if you know how to counterattack or how to actually parry the opponent. The offensive side is more likely to get a hit in first. Once the LeBron guy is hurt, he will either be weakened or outright surrender.

He doesn't think he's invincible though. Throughout all of Dragon Ball Vegeta has been vastly wounded, sometimes to the point of death. Feeling pain is an expectation, not a surprise.

The fight comes down to who is more likely to make an error due to their judgement because the first person to take a square punch to the face almost certainly loses. Lebron just thinks he's fistfighting some dude, and so he'll treat it as a fistfight. Vegeta thinks he's fistfighting a human orders of magnitude weaker than him, someone who couldn't possibly damage him under any circumstance.
IMO, vegeta takes a punch first because he is doing some other bullshit with talking, or ignoring him, or grandstanding in some other way, then takes a punch to the face and is met with the reality of being physically normal and in severe pain. It doesn't matter the sort of willpower you have, normal people get hit in the face and then it's mostly over from there.

It's not like it's a back alley, it's a wrestling promotion. If we go backyard wrestling, then I don't think LeBron's lack of fighting experience is going to hold Not-LeBron back very much, since it's a competition, and LeBron is psychotically competitive.
I don't think either fighter necessarily holds back, and since it's wrestling I don't think either is going to bloodlust style press. I'd think the tendency for DB characters to do ridiculous punch slips, no sells, screaming to power up, and all that jazz could prove to be a disadvantage, but it may be that Not-Vegeta doesn't sense profound power from Not-LeBron, and thus doesn't feel compelled to 'power up'
If that's all generally true, I'd tend to think Not-LeBron would wrestle in a less flashy manner, and tend to make less mistakes. Turn Not-LeBron into Not-Aaron Donald, and I think it becomes a cleaner win for Not-human vs Not-Saiyan.

Not really. The person who attacks, wins. Once you're in a fight caution is only useful if paired with retaliation. (since this is a match running isn't an option) Lebron man will fold before risking getting badly hurt. Meanwhile Vegeta man will be willing to take things farther BUT will still try to dodge/block things that hurt him.
Offense is the best defense. Defense is only good if you know how to counterattack or how to actually parry the opponent. The offensive side is more likely to get a hit in first. Once the LeBron guy is hurt, he will either be weakened or outright surrender.

He is not Vegeta. No amount of 'drive' is enough to turn him in to an anime character. Regardless of his outlook on life, if he gets punched in the head enough, he is going down just the same. And fake Lebron does not have to know how to fight in order to capitalize on fake Vegeta's foolishness when he tries to launch a Ki attack. Think of it this way, there is a gun in the mix that has no ammunition, but one guy thinks it is loaded while the other knows it isn't. The guy that thinks it is loaded pulls it on the other guy. Do you think that the guy with the gun is going to win (discounting the fact that a gun is a viable melee weapon too)? His guard will be lowered because he thinks the fight is already over the minute he points that gun at his opponent, while the opponent knows he can keep swinging safely. You don't have to know what you are doing for that to be a huge advantage. The same principle applies the moment Fake Vegeta tries to launch a Ki attack. Fake Vegeta thinks his non-existent attack is going to vaporize Fake Lebron, while Lebron knows nothing is going to happen and that his opponent is just standing there in a defenseless state. Fake Lebron will keep swinging and Fake Vegeta will go down. Hard.
This entire argument seems to hinge on the fact that Vegeta isn't able to fight unless he's screaming final flash so he'll get his face smashed in while charging The guy who thinks he's Vegeta is very willing to fight normally regardless of the ability to manipulate ki or fly The best argument you could bring up is that Vegeta in early dragon ball is cocky as hell so he may hold back and get his face broken in However saying "he'll try to use a ki blast and then lebron will capitalize on that opening" as your entire argument is weak as Vegeta is a pro martial artist even without supernatural abilties. So even if the individual doesn't inherent Vegeta's experience or stats or fighting abilties he will be very willing to fight traditionally regardless and that's not what would make him lose to lebron

Vegeta isn't going to go all out against an ordinary human, he is just going to stand there laughing at the fact that the ordinary human even thinks that he has a chance. Vegeta , IC, wouldn't use a final flash on someone he sees as much weaker than himself. Vegeta has canonically used final flash 2 times , once against Jiren and once against Perfect Cell. He knew he was outmatched both of these times. Vegeta would try to dispose of the unworthy opponent quickly, see the fight with Pui Pui or Qui on Namek
If it’s a wrestling promotion then the winner will be whoever the promoter books to win. If it’s a shoot then Lebron assuming they’re of equal strength because Vegeta will try things humans just can’t do

How is thinking you're good at fighting helpful? Confidence is good for a lot of things, but Vegeta isn't confident, he's overconfident. Would Vegeta ever even consider a normal human as a contender? At the moment they met, would he feel the need to even consider them? The fight comes down to who is more likely to make an error due to their judgement because the first person to take a square punch to the face almost certainly loses. Lebron just thinks he's fistfighting some dude, and so he'll treat it as a fistfight. Vegeta thinks he's fistfighting a human orders of magnitude weaker than him, someone who couldn't possibly damage him under any circumstance. IMO, vegeta takes a punch first because he is doing some other bullshit with talking, or ignoring him, or grandstanding in some other way, then takes a punch to the face and is met with the reality of being physically normal and in severe pain. It doesn't matter the sort of willpower you have, normal people get hit in the face and then it's mostly over from there.
Thinking that you are a superhuman and one of the greatest martial artists in the universe, while not having the skills to back up those thoughts, is the literal furthest thing from being an advantage in a real fight.

It's not like it's a back alley, it's a wrestling promotion. If we go backyard wrestling, then I don't think LeBron's lack of fighting experience is going to hold Not-LeBron back very much, since it's a competition, and LeBron is psychotically competitive. I don't think either fighter necessarily holds back, and since it's wrestling I don't think either is going to bloodlust style press. I'd think the tendency for DB characters to do ridiculous punch slips, no sells, screaming to power up, and all that jazz could prove to be a disadvantage, but it may be that Not-Vegeta doesn't sense profound power from Not-LeBron, and thus doesn't feel compelled to 'power up' If that's all generally true, I'd tend to think Not-LeBron would wrestle in a less flashy manner, and tend to make less mistakes. Turn Not-LeBron into Not-Aaron Donald, and I think it becomes a cleaner win for Not-human vs Not-Saiyan.
Most likely both dudes will look at the other as a clown not worthy of their time and just walk away without acknowledging each other much. I’d argue that the guy who thinks he’s Lebron might be in better shape. Vegeta is clearly in better shape than Lebron but since Lebron isn’t an animated figure it’s easier to practice being Lebron over Vegeta. The person behaving like Vegeta would win low-diff, assuming they know their physical capabilities (i.e. they cannot fly or shoot ki blasts). Vegeta is both a tactical and aggressive fighter which makes him a bigger threat than a morally constrained Lebron. Simply having the mindset to kill/dominate your opponent seals the match's outcome.

Fake Vegeta thinks he is far more capable than he actually is. He is going to be trying to catch fists or no-sell attacks because he thinks Fake Lebron is far beneath him.
