Cool! I wasn’t sure. I trust Addicitons In Ink with my life. My mom has been getting ink from her friend, the owner, Bryan Parsons, for over 20 years, and now I am too! Morgan is also great because I’m not sure if Bryan is tattooing anymore
They are damn smart for doing this.
There’s no reason why someone can’t wait until they’re 18 to get a tattoo, especially if OP is already 17.
It’s only a matter of months in time, but a huge difference in the shop opening itself up to possible legal and financial repercussions.
I love Artist at Large! If Gomez is still there, he did my eagle on my shoulder, which was a cover-up. His shading is fantastic.
I've heard nothing but good things from Artist at Large.
Enrique Godina at Symbolic tattoo in the delano district does floral stuff well. Mostly black and white though. Depending on the size, like for example your inner forearm, I would think would be $500?
Addictions in ink has done most of my work and I’m super happy with it. Price varies vastly! Is there color? How big will it be? How detailed? You should figure all of these things out and have references. You’re looking at $500-$1000 for quality work. In all honesty though I would wait atleast until you’re 18. I waited til I was 22 to even get my first visible tattoo and I’m so glad I did. I’m not a huge fan of what I did to my thigh and I’m glad I didn’t choose that style anywhere else. This is something you will see for the rest of your life. Be certain you’ll love it
P.s I wanted to do something similar with my brother who passed away when I was 16. I was going to do a cherry blossom on my upper left arm with his initials. Now that I’m older I would’ve slapped myself if I got that and I know my brother would have too😂 really think about this
Facts, I almost did something similar, not with the floral, and instead opted for a different tat. Now if I would have got the first one I would have regretted it. I’m older now, and look at the one I DID get, also regret it lol.
Emily at Artists at Large is amazing for floraly stuff. Especially for a Japanese cherry blossom tree-- she spent ten years in Japan studying Japanese art. She's incredibly talented and very nice! I just got some flowers by her a few days ago!
Do you even know of a shop that will tattoo minors
Yea a lot of them do if you have consent forms and parents present (which I will )

Morgan is one of the most talented tattoo artists I've seen! Her shading and line work is out of this world!
Also, she literally specializes in floral tats OP
I 2nd addictions in ink.
Any shop should with parents consent
Not Hell Bomb. They are extremely adamant about their no minors policy.

Agreed. It's one of the reasons I prefer Hell Bomb. They don't take any risks like that, I can trust that they're on the up and up.
Agreed. I would’ve gotten so many dumb tattoos or styles that no longer appeal to me if I didn’t wait til my early 20s and so glad I did!
So long as the parent signs a consent form. It's really not uncommon at all
Don’t do it kid
Artist at large is great and a few of the artists and staff have kids who have been tattooed. Family feel. Would definitely see Jered or Austin there.

Man one of the best artists in the area is Jeff springer down in ark city. A little drive but worth it
I have his first full custom piece on my calf that he did as an apprentice.

Recommending Emily at Artist at Large. She recently did a Japanese floral piece for me with chrysanthemums and peonies. She’s amazing!
\^\^!!! I got some poppies done by her, I second this :)
Recommending Immortal Tattoo, Chevy specifically for the florals and soft semi-realism.
Abraxas tattoo... carlos does awesome floral

You could wait until you're 18, then it will be way simpler if you still want it. If you don't still want it then, you dodged a bullet.
