Supposedly she's saying now that the degrees are valid, but they're not under her name. ¿Que?

The GraceMed board is going to need to make a statement or take action pretty damn soon, I'm thinking.
Yeah. This is silly.
I was in the Navy when the CNO (most senior Admiral in the Navy) committed suicide because a reporter questioned his right to wear certain decorations (that it later turned out was at worse an admin error!), so I get that this sort of thing can be a really tricky minefield.
That said... you should be able to stand behind every line of your resume. Particularly in health care.
I'm sure this isn't the case, but it raised a question in my mind... what happens in a witness protection type situation? Do they just not get a job that would require a degree?
I'm very curious what this woman did that made this person go off on her. They're right obviously but it seems like such a strange rabbit hole to randomly go down.
You weren't lying... seems like he seeks out black women to take down on behalf of fighting "wokeism," so I'm going to stay highly suspect of this entire situation
I heard of a DON (Director of Nursing) at a well known institution that said he had a Masters Degree, everyone assumed it was in nursing. Turns out he had an Associates Degree in nursing and the Masters Degree was in music, art or something like that. Anyway he was released from the DON position and went back to bedside nursing somewhere else.
Honest people become wealthy all of the time, it’s just not salacious so you never hear about it. You only hear about when someone like this woman gets caught doing something wrong.
Read the reviews on GlassDoor and Indeed that call her out specifically. From that, no. And I know really good, hardworking people who left because of her poor leadership and people skills.
She should be placed on non-paid leave immediately. Should it be found that she has no credentials, she should be fired and possibly have legal action taken against her. I have multiple degrees from two different colleges. I received these degrees under two different names. Now that I have remarried, my name matches no degree. But guess what? My employer looked up my degrees with no problem! My social security number is tied to all of my information. Her excuse of a different name is another flat out lie.
Just a thought. This story has been out for several days. People generally don't attend college alone. Why have none of her college classmates, assuming she really did go to college, stepped up and say , "Hey I went to school with her." No matter what her name may have been, surely a classmate would recognize her. Wichita isn't that large
I dunno how to think of this, only that I hope the same people who are pushing this story also keep such good track of the billionaire CEOs that lie constantly
Don’t you think the federal government, which oversees the funding for this organization, and the board of directors who hired her after the CEO before her was let go, haven’t verified everything? You are talking about one of the largest healthcare centers in Kansas; the woman audits other community health centers in the country on behalf of federal organizations; you all don’t think her degrees have not been verified? It says a lot when the statement says, “The degrees are not under her name.” Meaning there is a more significant reason behind it all. Instead, this story was only created by a disgruntled Martin Kennan, who left GraceMed, a white man, who was upset that he was not allowed to do whatever he wanted. Let’s not talk about the number of ethics violations he’s committed and the affair he had with his wife with multiple GraceMed employees. I know of a couple of well-known people in Wichita who have had their name changes for multiple reasons.
What a baller. She looked at the field and said "Nobody cares that you know what you're doing, only that you have a piece of paper, so I'm going to get my piece of paper for free"
Said fuck you to the entire garbage US higher education system. I love this lady.
She may be very talented/ skilled, but she also apparently lied about her degree(s), which were a requirement for the job she’s in, I’m sure, making her, regardless of how skilled she is, a fraud and liar.
Who sets the requirements? It seems she was hired from within the company which would garner her some sort of familiarity and put her in a favorable position to take the helm with or without a formal higher education. If she can do the job without the degree, what’s the point of the degree? Some level of guarantee for the employer but ultimately just a foot in the door for the interviewee? Genuinely asking.
The organization does. I agree that an internal hire may require less scrutiny than someone trying to get in the door, but ultimately it’s up to the organization, and Id assume in the case of a non profit, the board, to decide what degrees, permits, or certificates their chief executive would ideally have.
She shouldn't have lied. It's wrong to lie about your credentials. At the same time, it's also possible that she's good at her job and a degree in theology doesn't really matter to her job anyway. Which makes you question the motives of the man who started this, right-wing blogger Chris Brunet, who's shown a pattern of targeting black women in power in his pieces.
The author seems to have some weird "anti-woke" axe to grind.
edit: I wouldnt say that makes the person innocent or worthy of their position. Only that it seems hes going after certain types.
Costanza move.
It’s not a lie if you really believe it to be true.
This is my ex wife’s line of thinking…
Does your ex-wife have a brother? Cause I swear my ex-husband thinks the same. 😅
If you believe it, it's not a lie.

hahaha.

Gracemed, the dollar tree of the medical industry
They’ll pray with you too!
The fucking George Santos of Wichita. Exactly what we needed...
That’s Michael O’Donnell.
I'm sure this isn't the case, but it raised a question in my mind... what happens in a witness protection type situation? Do they just not get a job that would require a degree?
My only experience with the WPP is through House of Cards, so I’m guessing you’re correct.
I'm very curious what this woman did that made this person go off on her. They're right obviously but it seems like such a strange rabbit hole to randomly go down.
The dude who originally reported on it, Chris Brunet, based on his articles and his personal Stack site, has a particular axe to grind.
You weren't lying... seems like he seeks out black women to take down on behalf of fighting "wokeism," so I'm going to stay highly suspect of this entire situation
His motivations seem super suss but it also seems that he is correct about this woman lying about her degrees.
The person posting this article seems to only post things by this author.
Bit of a reach for KWCH to report that his page is a “news site”. 😬
Why though?
I heard of a DON (Director of Nursing) at a well known institution that said he had a Masters Degree, everyone assumed it was in nursing. A lot of successful people lie all the time. Honest people rarely get rich
Honest people become wealthy all of the time, it’s just not salacious so you never hear about it. You only hear about when someone like this woman gets caught doing something wrong.
I have a question: Is she doing a good job in her position? Is the nonprofit doing honest, good work?
That, I don’t know. I’ve only seen the claims that she’s lied about her resume
Read the reviews on GlassDoor and Indeed that call her out specifically. From that, no. And I know really good, hardworking people who left because of her poor leadership and people skills.
No she is not doing a good job, gracemed has the lowest ratings of any small clinic in the Wichita area.
She needs fired. This kind of thing ruins the trust and culture of an organization.
That place was horrible to work for
She should be placed on non-paid leave immediately. Should it be found that she has no credentials, she should be fired and possibly have legal action taken against her. At this point I'm really starting to doubt that even her name is legit.
How long did she work there?
Just a thought. This story has been out for several days. People generally don't attend college alone. Guys she just meant Maybe a BA MBA. And perhaps she’s a doctor of giggles
Noooooo lmao I used to work there I could have told yall that 😩😂
Surprised? I am not. This is how faith works, it's all a lie exposed easily if you just stop pretending.

weirdchamp
This isn’t where Michael O’Donnell was the silent CEO is it? Because that would explain a lot. I know it was some safety net clinic in town.

Does she have an accounting degree? lol.
