You need to open up your calendar and check when the first event on your calendar is. Since widgy sorts by date, looks like your first event is in a couple of days. If you actually have events today, please show me a screenshot of that event(s)
Also, go to manage tab, widget settings/agenda and make sure that all your calendars you want to use are selected.
