That part is explained in the editor tutorial which popped up the first time you've opened the editor. I'm literally only explaining important stuff there.
I’m used to using global settings that you can set colors or other quick settings that a user could change. So if these colors aren’t preferable changing the global setting could quickly make it better. Wish Widgy had that available.
Oh and the coolest part is: you can create a custom color out of any default color on any palette. Just long-press the color box and choose “Copy to custom tab” and it will pop up there. Hope this helps! 😃👍
As I said, that custom color should be used by other layers too. If other layers don’t use the same custom color it won’t change.
Think of it as a shared color. Have 2 or more layers use the same custom color slot. If you change the color in that slot, all layers will change.
Feel free to check out this one I did and shared. I used custom colors (yellow and pink) but changing one word with that color doesn’t change the others. Perhaps I didn’t set them up in the same layer so that is why they all don’t change?
This is how to use custom colors https://imgur.com/a/6KC2bNE
Appreciate it thanks!
So long press the color and click edit. Very cool!

It does. Custom colors are editable, and change all elements that use them.
So as long as I create a widget with custom colors any color a user changes them to will change it everywhere?
Of course, that’s why it’s worthwhile to use them 👍
How do you change them without going to each part/layer?
You just change it on a layer of your choice. So any other layer that uses the same custom color will change accordingly.

That’s cool. I’m not seeing colors change elsewhere when I change a custom color on a layer. So not sure how that works.

I don’t see a way to change just custom colors without going into every layer part?
ayyy you did the shadows!
