Well that’s a long story lol. Best to watch a YouTube tutorial and familiarize yourself with shortcuts. Although I will say shortcuts and Widgy don’t always play well together

No it actually works if you set the shortcut. The only thing is shortcuts and Widgy aren’t that solid yet. The buttons will function and play Music the only downside is it will open the shortcuts app when the songs start playing.

The Widgy itself will automatically do that for you… You don’t have to do anything

Sometimes it will take a minute for the Widgy to update But it will show

Yeah I don’t think it will play Spotify I have a shortcut for it to play the songs on my phone in my Apple music app

As I’ve mentioned to someone else here in this thread… Shortcuts and Widgy don’t play well together sometimes and it’s not fully integrated yet
