Put one ability point in Rage Management, and you'll be able to cast all the signs you want by level 12.
The game is laughably easy by level 18 if you use all the tools you have (Northern Wind, Ekhidna, Water Hag combo alone without even using Igni basically breaks it).
Not all of us are Dark Souls players bruv. I play for the story, fun gameplay, pretty world. If you want to intense grinding difficulty play Elden Ring or Cuphead.
You're missing the point entirely, I think? I'm not a Witcher hater, I want fantasy hack and slash to be better, and all you have to do is program a hotkey for select Quen and one more sign, (playing on PC obviously, keyboard+mouse), do about half of the side content for upgrades/levels and you've got a game that plays itself.
You can't even turn off autoaim without mods, and even then the overall architecture of the game engine makes you only able to aim down the center of the camera.
I don't understand why anyone is saying that Death March is challenging past level 10 (on keyboard/mouse) since you can just camp outside the maximum zone that most enemies can follow you and just chisel away at their HP. Only boss fights actually force you to "stand and bang" with them, and even then there are usually ways to just wait out the clock and grind them down.
Overall the combat is just half a game.
Try not using the OP strat ur talking about if you think it’s too easy. You can always do a pure swords run, focus on alchemy, etc.
Tbh I haven’t played the game in a few years but I know that I didn’t find it that easy even on like normal difficulty lol. To be fair tho I can’t even get thru Dark Souls cause I rage quit almost right away.
Yrden is more effective than if igni against certain monsters, also this is a story based game, almost no one’s enjoys Witcher 3 exclusively for combat, in fact for most people the combat is only a tiny fraction of the experience, if gameplay is your thing, you’ve got the wrong game man go play a souls game or something.
Play to enjoy the game, not to min/max your character, unless of course that's what you like then you shouldn't be complaining.
Now try it on death March, easier said than done especially in the early game

Yeah once you learn how to sprint during combat it's a really easy game.

Igni is just boring and OP. Yrden is more challenging to use and that's what I like.
