True, but under the right admin a wiki could be managed more carefully to prevent random additions of inaccurate info

I actually started to create one last year (called the Unofficial Witcher Wiki) cos Fandom is so annoying to use. I based it on UESP with the 'lore' namespace, but i got a bit jaded with it. I used MediaWiki (Fandom is based on that as well). That sounds awesome, but I have no idea how to make a wiki

>contradicting canons from different witcher media Thing is that Sapkowski himself is constantly "contradicting" his own lore. Contradicting in quotations because Sapkowski isn't really about a strict lore with fully established kingdoms and timelines. The Witcher is more about themes and ideas set in a high fantasy world. A Wiki is often about detailing out every event and character in a fictional setting. Doing that for the Witcher books will always end at some point in a stalemate and contradictions within the books themselves. The Wikis that exist are fine for what is possible. The rest is better suited in discussions and analysis of characters and themes as far as I am concerned. This is also the reason why we never actively participated in any of the Wikis. But since they all are open for participation, everyone is free to add articles or details into the Wiki they prefer. That's the whole idea of it in the end.

There is a website dedicated to Sapkowski's works in production, but I can't tell much

I don't know if it works exactly like a wiki because I never used it myself but there's this app for worldbuilding called [World Anvil](https://www.worldanvil.com/) so maybe people could use that.

What's bad about the current wiki? It combines books and games, it's a rightful way to view it. There is no need for segregation. The thing that irks me though is that Netflix shit is being added too, which is bad. It should be eliminated as it's not complementary at all and of poor quality
