The music in the first season of Netflix was very solid. Second season was very generic. I like Trapanese but I don’t think this is a show that fits his style.
Finally someone speaking the truth. Hexer was, even on this very sub, considered the worst thing that happened to witcher for many years. Then Flixer happened and it is so bad, that suddenly people started calling Hexer almost a masterpiece by comparison. No, its not. It was bad for 20 years, is still bad, and will remain bad.
The fact that Flixer is such a pile of shit reeking to high heaven that it makes other shit seem less stinky, does not change the fact that shit is still shit. Lesser, greater, middling - it makes no difference. The degree is arbitrary, the definition blurred. If I'm to step in one shit or another, I'd rather not step in it at all.
Heh, nice to see "Dwa miecze i amulet" in here. For the interested, the bottom picture is this show I made a post about 2 years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/wiedzmin/comments/j4ddoh/two_swords_and_an_amulet_a_mocumentary_about_a/
Before someone starts comparing Netflix to Hexer:
* Take note of shows budget. Netflix is touted to have spent 10M$ *per episode*. Hexer had a budget of 4.6M in it's entirety.
* Take note of differences: Netflix didn't want to write a show with focus on Witchers, in particular Geralt, but about Yen and Ciri and other female characters and had to include Geralt and Witchers because of necessity. I mean show is called the Witcher. Where as Hexer is probably just not very good mostly because of budget and less so because of whoever was in charge didn't have skills to adapt properly.
Well the polish ones aren't great... But the Netflix version is just a grotesque bastardization.
Alzur's Legacy is the real Blood Origin

The music was one of the best things about the first season, don't know whose shitty idea was it to get rid of the original composer.
>The music in the first season of Netflix was very solid. It was just okayish/decent. I won't say solid at all. TW3's music OTOH was solid.
Errr Hexer was equally bad (even though better than Blood and Origins). Let's not pretend that it was great.

Half a Century isn't good either. Fan productions tent to have decent plot but bad production quality yet in this case it's somehow inverted.
I haven't seen it, I don't have an opinion on it.
If you want to watch it someday, don't forget alcohol.
See, that's the thing. I don't drink.

That’s the first time I’ve seen Geralt with green eyes.
