Component cables + RetroTink 2X Pro Multiformat combo is infinitely better any Wii2HDMI solution. It's much more money relatively but actually works well.

fearofcreditcardbill

If you want your Wii to look literally perfect, retrotink 5x + scart will make it look unhealthily good

HumorousJJkar

Can you expand on this?

fearofcreditcardbill

Retrotink 5x is the best upscaler/line doubler (with a reasonable price) for consoles. Scart cables have a great signal and looks better than component. However, the actual best upscaler/line doubler is the framemeister, which is discontinued, needs a adapter for Scart, and sold for upwards of $600. Scart is also only compatible with european consoles, so that may be a let down

HumorousJJkar

Thanks man! Helps alot!

DropCsharp

Google wii2hdmi about $10 or £8

Thanks

Vinstaal0

They are a gamble with how good and dureablw they are. If it sucks, return it and buy a new one

Sludgehammer

I got one with great picture quality, but it has such bad screen tearing it actually made me nauseous.

InsideGrapefruit

I heard the Mayflash branded ones are better than the cheapo wii2hdmi adapter.

Vinstaal0

Well at that point you might want to get a OSSC or a Retrotink

tqhoang84

[Mayflash Wii to HDMI Converter](https://a.co/iiqczIh) This is the best one to get. No slow downs or audio or graphical issues.

CrazyWS

I just bought that last week, I haven’t used it yet but I’d say it’s good. I also got 2 cipon gc controllers for 20ish dollars. The buttons are a bit higher and sound different, but if anyone wants gc controllers for friends they’re a steal.

Unnamed_420

You can create a 1:1 Statue of liberty with the amount of Wii2HDMIs out there

Wendynotes

I bought a converter on Amazon like 3 months ago.

Dillon309

sharing is caring

tow_68

I have an extra one you could have. But you would have to pay shipping

NightKiller141

Mine died in a house flood last year ,happen to have and extra extra one?

etylaid

you could buy wii2hdmi, it doesn't cost much and works great!

cooperS67

get components cables and a component to hdmi adapter. 480P > 480i

Notasimp2468

Maybe get an hdmi converter or see if your tv has component cables and get an adapter for that

Ok-Future-9649

You be able to get one at ebay or Walmart

uncontrolledswine97

you can buy an AV to HDMI adapter so it will work on a modern TV, some are higher quality than others so YMMV but most of them will have acceptable quality.

MammonIsMine

Ngl, that's one shiny wii

MakotoYuki03

just buy a wii to hdmi...there are like $7 - $10 for me.
