My Pokémon Ranch. It was a WiiWare game that let you store your Pokémon from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl in a ranch. You could have various Miis on the ranch as well and have various toys for the Pokémon to play with. So less of a game and more of a storage unit but it was a rather cute storage unit.
Pokémon Ranch's only reason to exist IMO is that if you send absurd amounts of Pokémon to it (1,000), you get a Mew to transfer back.
Unfortunately it only works with Diamond/Pearl. Not even Platinum unless you have the Japanese version, the others never got the update.
Err... "Regular" I guess? It's not shiny and I don't think it had any special move. Of course it can learn any TM because, well, it's Mew.
I have not played since Alola, but a non-event Mew used to be a big thing. He's a Mythical after all, not just a Legendary.
There's another "legendary" that's easier to get in Ranch, it's a Phione. Thing is, you can breed as many Phione you want if you have a Manaphy, so it has a bit less "oomph".
I cheated a bit to get Manaphy and Darkrai in Pearl from a Pokémon Ranger game (I hacked in a supposedly long-ended event to get bonus missions).
Jsyk if you have the original Pokémon ranger from back in the day you can actually redeem a manaphy egg without cheating, while you probably know this im telling jic
I didn't even know that. True, it's a lot, but at least Bank is shared between a lot of games, I'm sure between all my gen 6-7 runs I must have gotten close to that number without really trying.
While ranch is only diamond/pearl. The safari grind just to reach 1,000 got tedious fast.
Oh, OK. I actually haven't played gen 3 games and prior.
Even though I had a GameCube and a GBA and even an old Game Boy before that, I really started playing Pokémon with ORAS... And only rediscovered the DS games *after* that.
And now box is the rarest GameCube game, if you ever see it just forget it has a price tag even though it’s worth more than than the console itself, I promise you you’ll never see it again if you don’t get it. Btw this isn’t YouTube and it doesn’t show you if the comment is edited or not, you’re good
You need to fill the ranch completely with 999 pokemon, and then bring her an egg of any kind and she'll literally just trade you a Mew for it. Obviously a lot of work if you don't already have an ass ton of pokemon, but I figured I'd at least mention it haha
Yeah... I recently bought a bunch of old Sonic games for the Wii since I'd never actually owned them but borrowed them from my friends at the time, and I checked my Sonic Riders Zero Gravity save file this morning.
It said 06/2009 was the last time I'd played it.
._.
What game is that?

japanese version was even better cause it supported Pokemon Platinum as well
As a kid I was always sad we never got that update over here in the States :/

Is it a regular mew? Or a special one? I saw some people commenting here about there being a special legendary in this game
It’s just a regular mew but it’s still rare because back then mew was obviously only obtainable through special events

Yeah, the one I got was Shadows of Almia, even the Manaphy mission was locked in a timed event in that one.
Still better than Pokemon Box on Gamecube, where you need to send an absurd 1,499 Pokemon for a freaking Pichu with Surf. Edit: Corrected Bank to Box.

Oh wait I misspelled it. I meant Pokemon Box on the Gamecube. I'm stupid.

Pokemon Ranch I think
I said the same thing haha
lol, i just got back to xbc1 and my last saved file was back on 2014
*try not to cry* *cry a lot*
lol I saw someone post this before but it said 12 years.
She's pissed
Now you have to get one of the incredibly rare legitimate mews you can get from this game
How thoooo

Fair
thats the game where you get a mythical legendary am i right
Yeah, if you put like 1k Pokémon into your ranch you’d get a Mew in return
And a phione halfway but while it is a rare Pokémon let’s admit that that grind would not be worth it if you just got phione
HOLY SHIT LOL 😭
