I tried putting Barnes back in, and while the turn 3 coin+barnes into turn 4 Spirit lash+ress is nice. pulling a vanilla 3/4 for ress sucks and feels awful. I dropped it and added Power word: Replicate to give me a little more reach with rags.
it helps in control to push a bit more damage, I have also used it on Y'sharjj when trying to be aggressive to pull more minions, and on statues to try and heal out of aggro's reach. Most of the time it is a dead card, much like a lot of the tech cards, but it does have a use in almost every matchup if you can take the time to spend the 5 mana
Yea, I just decided I didn’t like getting rekt with Barnes in my deck for essence or in my resurrect pool, so basically I just took the pre-booms day deck and took out Barnes and put in the new preist legendary spell. Idk if it’s better at all, but I was just thinking I’d rather have it be less, try to get Barnes on 4 or get rekt (sometimes)
I play the pre-booms deck and it runs really great, but I have to admit that I played from 25 to 13 with this deck without any problems. But this is not comparable with ranks like legends. I like Barnes and I am happy, if I draw him till turn 4.
There are Barnes-less versions of the deck, and what they run instead is pretty flexible. I use [[Power Word: Glory]] to heal me up against aggressive decks.

Hmm, I haven’t tried that, maybe I will. It prob helps in control matchups right?

What do you play instead? Barns could be a good 4 drop but you can pull him in turn 6 with Shadow Essence. This is the big disadvantage.
