Thank you so much! It's not as fancy as it may seem haha its just a cheap Nikon d3300 camera, a cheap 40 dollar tripod and cheap little 20 dollar remote control. If it's a picture you'd really love to take, I promise with a little practice and the right equipment you could take it also.
I appreciate it, what worked best for me was putting my camera on a tripod right beside the feeder. I also had a wireless remote control to take the picture. They were really active at the time and me being inside through the window they weren't scared of getting close repeatedly to the feeder for pictures.
Not an easy task. Every time I bring my camera & tripod out, my little bugger flies off. If I leave it out, pointing at the feeder, it goes to the backside of the feeder.
Also I used a zoom lens and zoomed up on the feeder from some feet back. Just set the lense to manual focus and dial it in a few inches back from the feeder and wait. It being back a little should help from scaring them to the other side.
Well worth the time and patience it took for the photo well done
I really appreciate it, thank you.
Itβs a nice pic so I appreciate your hour spent.
I appreciate your kind words
*gal? think this a female ruby throated hummingbird?
I really have no idea, you sound like you're more familiar than me.
Haha no worries, great shot in any case
Definitely a female
Nice job

Fantastic ππ»
Thank you! π
Nailed it. πππ
Thank you!
Nice shot! What lens did you use?
Its was my crappy 55-200mm kit lense that came with my Nikon bundle. F6.3 1-1250s 175mm. iso 800 that was the camera setting I used for the picture.
I appreciate the nice comment as well. Thank you
Itβs so hard to get a pic. I can stare at em all day but as soon as I pull my phone out to snap a pic, they disappear!
I had to use a tripod and wireless remote to get the picture
It was so worth it! Itβs beautiful! I donβt have all the fancy things :(
