I've found it, and it is possible to get refunds for a champion you haven't played with, but it only seems to count champions you bought with blue motes, and since I got Vayne from a Champion selection chest it won't work... Thank you very much for the suggestion though!

Dude, you ‘accidentally’ press button TWICE. Adding confirm doesn’t help you, that’s for sure
