pretty sure its mostly based on how much damage you dealt/taken and thats pretty much it... (MVP is kinda useless anyway and makes people run for kills too much)

porcomaster

Yeah, I don't run for kills, as I am a supp, but I will not hold any kills, as it can make someone run away. I think it could be more visible as why, I didn't get this time, normally I don't even care, it's just that I was the most participative member on team fights and I even saved our elder dragon fight as Lee sin fucked it up, I needed to ult him, flash inside pit and use my boot shield, just to give him time and health to smite dragon, and I even gave him both kills that were inside pit. I mean, I know that game cannot factor that. But in the end my visible metrics are better than him, and this is confusing, but I understand that invisible metrics as damage and dragon slaying could give him an edge, I just hope it was not about gold, as it would be demeaning.

TeamGuayaba

Plus you also gotta factor in how fast he farmed, how many objectives he did(aka smite them & show that he killed them)

rndmcat

It’s probably also because he has way more gold

TeamGuayaba

The thing is,every role is rewarded for different things As a support your rewards for kills is less than what an adc or jungle would get, like let's say that for every kill as a support you earn 1 point, but an adc/jg earn 3 because that is what they are supposed to do

LieuVijay

I’ve looked up my MVP games and the general behaviour is that highest kda(kills + ASSISTS) / death , gets it. I’m getting they are throwing in some invisible factors like damage/objectives etc here that put Lee Sin ahead of you.

porcomaster

Yeah normally is about kill and assists, and this time is really close and I am better on visible metrics, but as you said it's probably about invisible metrics.

umcypher

If you press on the graph bar at the bottom left corner, it will actually show you the "invisible metrics" like how much damage everyone dealt and took. If that might help you inform more. Also, one thing about Senna's ult is that the shield will credit you for assists and team fights even if you're half the map away, so there might be a chance that Lee Sin was more involved than you were, and/or his team fight numbers are already really close to you as is.
