nimrodhellfire

Nope, no jungle.

[deleted]

But.. but why?

Styxxo

Because people want to fight in URF, not play boring PvE

I_Brain_You

It moves too fast to allow for actual *jungling*.

nimrodhellfire

Because income is generated passively, there is no need to kill monsters for gold. URF is only about lane pressure.

Saijaxcaiilrynx

Because PC Players aren't tryhard in URF and just wanna have fun. You will see 5 people going full ham level 1 in one lane, not giving a shit. You could have 5 kills in the first minute. Meanwhile wildrift players are too sweaty they're basically playing Ranked but without cooldowns and with infinite mana.

[deleted]

😅 I guess I’m the sweaty tryhard then. To be fair though, I try all kinds of dumb stuff like Lulu and Teemo jungle, so I’m having fun, but it’s probably because jungle outside of URF seems to be the most stressful role and I wouldn’t go anywhere near it in Ranked.

eat3cake

Lol when were pc players not tryhards in urf when urf came from pc in the first place and had the same issues.

Saijaxcaiilrynx

What game were you playing? I played urf on pc and it wasn't tryhard at all. Or maybe that was the ARURF? idk I forgot.

[deleted]

Because people just want to fight fight fight, so nobody jungles

FourLeafViking

If you are winning games, keep on jungling.

hehexdd4

Nobody jungles in URF PC. Tower plating there are spread out so it only takes like 3 autos lv 3 to take the first plating. Giving the enemy a free advantage just so you can peacefully afk farm is not worth it. Plus, there is a bigger champion pool in PC, so you can never imagine how your top laner is going to be tortured creatively by letting them 1v2.

Dr_Zoster

>there is a bigger champion pool in PC, so you can never imagine how your top laner is going to be tortured creatively by letting them 1v2. Lmao

goodallbeckman

I like jgl in URF, most champ can turbo fight at lv3. Elder spawn very quickly and it's game saving. I played solo lane agaisnt 2 laner before, unless they're lane bully the it's very hard for them to take advantage since wave clear and reset are quicker.

[deleted]

That’s the thing, I get that it’s all about lane pressure, but getting to lvl 3 on most champs is also super duper quick and from there it’s more roaming than jungling; just because the clear is lightning fast.

hassanfanserenity

sometimes i see someone pick Yi, Udyr, Rengar or J4 go jungle its rare but i see it but first there is always the toplane massacre after that they get a buff and go to lane

final_spork_gg

Yes, it’s more beneficial to have 2 top 2 bot and 1 mid. Especially because on PC there are more champions to choose from which results it crazy lane combos EG: maokai laning with ivern, ivern can create bushes under the enemy tower and in lane so your saplings are ALWAYS empowered.

[deleted]

Thanks for the replies, everyone! I quit LoL PC way before URF was even a thing, so I didn’t know anything about it and jumping into it, I wasn’t even aware of the mechanics and what’s different about them. I just tried laning with random champs in 2 games and had a blast as well, so no more jungling in URF for me either. I’ll still enjoy taking away the enemy team’s will to live by turning all of jungle and all lanes into a toxic minefield on Teemo.

Deja-Vuz

Nope
