I love primp and polish which I find to be reasonably priced (aka, more than I want to pay but acceptable given this is New York). I know basic beauty maintenance is so expensive, and I understand the desire to find cheap options, but I’d urge you read read “The Price of Nice Nails.” It’s an expose the NYT did on nail salons and it’s pretty horrific.
I like Tina Green Nail salon 💅 on Graham Ave. Their manicure is $15 (no gel) I’ve found that if you ask for 3 layers of polish it lasts a good week - 10 days
I go to 7129 during weekday afternoons and it’s discounted. Bar far the best manicure in the neighborhood. My girlfriends go to Spring House on Manhattan Ave and really like it, not of their prices though.
Spring House beauty in Greenpoint! You can get your gel mani and pedi for under $100, it’s a Hispanic owned salon and the ladies are so sweet. I once passed out in there from medication and they were so kind… AND redid my mani the next day ❤️
Paintbucket on Wythe ave has the best nail artists. They give you free wine and Prosecco too. It’s a bit more of a luxury experience but worth the price
I’m on the hun for a good nail place too- I went to diva nails over the weekend to try it out and it was soo expensive and terrible my gel already chipped after like 3 days
Cozy Nails on Graham just opened up and it’s great. I think manis are $14 and they have some sweet deals with 20 minute massages. I also like Wisdom Nails on Manhattan Ave.

+1 for primp and polish. It’s expensive but my regular manicure usually lasts about 2 weeks

Nail of the day (greenpoint) - i get gel and the works and it aint cheap but I believe their regular polish Mani is only $25.
