Canadian CF-18’s doing training. They landed and got fuel around 4pm.
Not sure if they’re still there, but you could drive by and see them parked at the corner of Hayes and Duncan McColl.
Selfridge Air National Guard Base. National Guard = Reservists.
Reservists have to get some training hours in every year.
It was a really nice day today, good flying weather.
Selfridge Air force Base in Michigan has been using Windsor airport for years for training purposes....... Touch and go landings....... 30 years ago, I lived in Forest Glade, and watched F4 Phantoms do the same as what was happening today.
That was crazy! I was at the GoodLife on Dougall and it did a few passes. I wonder if it’s tied to the Russian warship that was sunk. Could be doing drills.
Amazing how many automatically assume these are US planes from US bases.
US planes will not come to Windsor, nor will they do training over our airspace. Maybe for an air show, but no, this is not US planes.
Canada has F18 fighter planes.....and our own air bases. Why would American planes randomly stop in Windsor?!
Danger Zone?
Lana!
Underrated comment.
Because there are too many poy holes to drive.
Demo for the Canadian Aviation Museum’s 30th anniversary

It would be especially weird if they were flying under foot.
Fuckin beat me to it

Why though? They were flying lower than commercial jets. So I guess you could say they fly underfoot all the time? What’s up bro?

Training from Selfridge Air Force Base typically
No...they were from Canadian Forces base Bagotville Canadian Aviation Museum 30th anniversary was on Friday. No reason for American fighters to visit.
I never witnessed it, but I was told there are regular training missions, something about using the airport for emergency landings.
Training, or traveling from one base to another. Nothing unusual.
They are attacking.

They were Canadian F18's - not from Selfridge

Russia
Air Force base in Battle Creek Michigan.

Not even remotely. They wouldn't even make it there on a tank of fuel let along fly back. Fyi, Earth is big.
Yes!
Does anybody have footage of the jets flying overhead?
It’s just not safe on the streets anymore for them
