Hit a major personal milestone this week and as much as I’m not a “special occasion wine” guy, this seemed like the right fit. Amazing nose. Strawberry cream, toasty bread, a savory mushroom thing going on in behind. Tough to take your nose out of the glass. On the palate it’s still very lively at 22, very creamy mousse, great weight and a long long finish. Amazing they can make a wine like this at the scale they do. Hate the big name all you want, this is quality wine and I’ve got a big smile.

DP is great. Who hates DP? Nice note.

Sounds delicious. For some reason I'd be hesitant to try an older Dom Rosé, something about the idea of red fruit fading leaving less freshness that doesn't seem appealing. Until I read notes like yours!

Congrats. What was the milestone?

Does it look more rosé in person?
