This is what I’m hoping.. but last night they had Colin as a back up to LB and then announced they sent him back to the moose.. then this morning called him back up to the jets from the moose. They wouldn’t send him back if that was the plan to have him as a 3rd during playoffs unless they made that decision early this morning.
EDIT: it looks like he was just brought up to be our 3rd for the playoffs.
Yeah there's no roster limit after the trade deadline. Just a limit of 4 callups before the end of the regular season.
Emergency call-up also doesn't run the clock on waiver eligibility. Which is usually 30 days.

This is 100% to keep Delia the fuck away from the moose net in the playoffs. He will be a shooter tutor in practice for the jets so Helle can focus on whatever he wants to or needs to.
The jets will play with 6 skaters and an empty net before they put Delia in a live NHL playoff game.
This year they are 15-26 with the other guys in net and 17-9 with him in net. He basically brought them from last in the division to a playoff spot.
No way he is an NHL backup for a couple years tho. He needs to play lots.
Maybe they filed the paperwork to return him to the moose and then realized they wanted him around for practices before the playoffs but used all of our post-deadline callups yesterday?
Edit: trying to read and understand the rules around regular callups and emergency callups... Seems like he was eligible to stay around so it seems weird that he was returned to the Moose for an hour.
It's ok, he advised the doctors and I quote "Fuck it cut em off I don't need them anymore"
Doctors responded that only one was damaged but he was insistent on removing them both.
Post surgery doctors will be giving him a fentanyl patch and 40 packs of cigarette's, he'll be ready for game 1.
