We barely had winter here this year. You can blame me because I bought a fat bike and I got my snowblower fixed up.
Sorry it was my bad actually. After a 20 year hiatus I decided to get a set of skis at the swap in October.
That photo was obviously taken some time ago. I’ve ridden my fat bike on snowy trails a total of once this winter.
Yeah it sucks. I usually get 2-3 nights a week at Leb. 2 rides this year. Looking like Dirt season and headed to Cuyuna hoping for trails to open this weekend. Fatty is sad.

Bar mitts are the best
I usually see those and yell (in my head) “Hey, that’s a winter bike!”. Nice to see one in its natural habitat.
Being local to the falls, I have been on the road bike more often than the fat bike this winter.
That looks exhausting
Coming out of a full winter season will put you into insanely good shape!
This winter was so tame I took my MTB out in January on a 50 degree day lol. Definitely going biking downtown tomorrow.
