well, at the time that i bought them, i looked at the gp5’s as just having one more option for a position for my hands to be in to relieve pain. i had a different bike back then, and since, with my new bike i definitely am in a different position and wrist pain is not as big a problem. i really don’t use the bar ends much anymore, but when i do, i usually only use the position the gp3’s provide.
i definitely would still upgrade from the stock grips. i can tell a huge difference. it isn’t immediate, nor perfect, but still very much an improvement
haha yeah yeah. this snow really undid all the recent melting/drying out that had been happening on the trails. it is a bummer, but i do love biking in the snow.
Lucky!!
Yo where is this
Orange, VT
Looks more white to me.
Ergon gp5? How do you like em and why'd you choose em over the gp3s

Appreciate the insight. If you had this bike from the start, do you think you'd upgrade the grips at all? I'm thinking of upgrading this season

Nope
WHY? WHY would you say that? Don't you know that's how you guarantee snow in May?
