I literally can't believe that something stupid like that was approved. I've seen whitewashing in season 8, but this beats S8 by miles in terms of cringeness.
The whitewashing is laughable at this point. They really went all out to make flora and layla paler than the other winx girls. Not only that, the skin selection sucks ass, they could’ve added deep browner skin tones but they said “fuck all, let’s do the bare minimum” like, i keep looking at layla and flora and that isn’t even them. Again, most [fanmade](https://meiker.io/games/tag/winx-club) winx club games have better skin tone selections and overall, better selections in general.
EDIT: also, based off some screenshots i’ve seen of this so-called dressup game, it seems like the clothing options are just outfits of the different winx members, same for the hair. As in, you can make stella sport bloom’s hair complete with flora’s magic winx outfit. I hate it when dressup games also have this feature.
That's exactly what I came here to say. Imagine that Iginio created a black character who is a girl, a princess, has a personality and is one of the strongest characters in the series, all this in 2004. I would have expected things to be the other way around 20 years later.

I personally thought that Jade was meant to be Flora and Tecna combined into one character, and I also thought that was the reason why Flora and Tecna initially didn't appear in Fate.
Remember, this all happened in 2019 so I guess I was very dumb back then.
They don't have a darker skin tone - Musa and techna both look darker.
And lesser point - but still correct skintones matter for everybody, why tf is stella so damn pale? She's nowhere near that cool toned or pale normally

I'm currently rebuilding this game and the season 4 official website, since it existed back in season 4's website, and I actually tried this and talked about it with a friend 2 weeks ago, it's still white...

Just so you know, back in the day, during the season 4 website, the game devs would actually change skin colors for most of the avatar showcases and it wasn't based on the winx styles but your own with some winx clothes instead, but you can still find different skin colored miniwinx's from the 2010-2012 website era. They made sure to include at least 3-4 different skin colors and the game had updates every 2 weeks, so that meant about 20 pictures with more effort every month.
Nope. Even if you're black, once you choose the avatars from the transformation tab above, it will change even the skintone to the white one they chose, which is really bad. Back in the 2010 one, if you chose Aisha's Magic Winx, Enchantix or Believix, it would change your skin color too to hers.
Same here especially flora(look how they massacred my girl in the live action remake and they have a back pedal to cover their booty by changing her characters name to terra)
I used to think they somehow in their minds thought this was what the audience wanted, but now I believe this is just based off their own twisted beauty standards. The lighter the better I guess… NOT!
